i don't see the big hullabaloo personally. but its probably because i do all my quests. like squid said, i eat it every once in a while (mostly carl these days), but with the tokens and QP i still make enough bank everyday. i honestly never really looked at the QPs alottment, i just knew i was getting them every day. and with the way stuff being bought with QP is deflating (or going back to original price, i dunno)... i think less is actually an okay idea.

I used to receive multiple quest points in a row....I don't believe the whole "this has been the case since May" story

Regarding the odd numbers in getting points, while I can't speak for you, I know that when I did Shinwa today, I ended up 3 Pete quests, and 2 library ones. So I did 2 more for Pete, and 3 more library quests, and got my point there.

/edit Actually, definitely got my point on 10/15 for Carl, and then for 12/15 for Carl. At least, I got the message, I can't confirm the actual points or not. Did NOT get a message for 15/15 Carl.

If this has been in the script since May Why is it only happening now,I also think that the quests carry over I was doing Shinwa and my first quest was Pete and got that message QP for doing 5 quests

I like this 1-5 thing. It is a sure thing.. I like it. :)

I don't mind the change so much, I just hope that it's taken into consideration when coming up with prices for limited edition items (like the seasonal items).

It does seems like there might be some kind of a glitch with this, though.

I got a message saying I got a QP from my second quest today. I didn't check my points before I started, so I can't say whether I did or not, but I got another message five quests later, for my seventh quest and it was one point higher.

It's been said a few times that it doesn't reset at midnight, so that makes sense. :)

Still occasionally getting this message. (As in, I nabbed a screenshot finally, so I can empirically prove I'm not imagining that I was seeing something OTHER than the 1 in 5 change that just recently started for me.)

Wow on the branch of no news changes, anyone else an oracle shop customer? When did this new ten second timer between items come up? I mean I suppose it makes it more fair, but it also makes it a bit of a PITA lol Will take some getting used to as I usually just buy one of each thing in background tabs and then go through and see if there is anything I actually want. But I guess that's good so people won't be getting ridiculously cheap stacks of tique items in milliseconds anymore. wistfully remembers that one time I actually found one

I actually.. had no idea of the existence of the Oracle Token Shop.

Oh yeah, I'm sure, I'll ping then. I buy from the oracle shop every night that I remember in time to catch it and I just hold down ctrl and click each box quickly to buy one of everything. Tonight I did that and as I went through the resulting tabs, instead of items I got a bunch messages about buying from the shop being limited to 1 item per 10 seconds. I'm not sure which night I bought there last, but it was this past week so it's brand newish at least and I hadn't read anything about it. LOL I had the same revelation happen last year when someone was upset that a user shop had a stack of a brand new tique item days after it came out and that person let us know they found them at the oracle shop. Been stalking it ever since, restocks at midnight. :) Good luck snagging something in there! :D

I just noticed the new wording of the quest points. Not all questers say the new phrase. At least for now it will be a constant amount of QP given when doing as many as you can on any given day.

I usually do: Carl. Library. Quentin. Wizard. A random last quester. Total of five.
