Technically Lucy's character rapes one of my favorite characters repeatedly (he's a gladiator/slave and has no choice because of that, she doesn't realize he doesn't want her... but still). In the third season she does get raped (more than once if I remember correctly... I hated the character that does it to her before that and then after ARRGGGG ALL THE RAGE)

Oh man I don't even remember that in Penny Dreadful but I'm sure it upset me too. I love that show though, the first season was so Gothic and delicious. There are witches in the second season I don't remember any animal cruelty but I wouldn't swear to it (I know they use baby's but I don't remember animals). Which is a strange thing to say babies whatever animals OH HELL NO! Now that I think about it there may be an animal sacrifice or two in Spartacus I don't think there were but maybe (but I might be confusing it with Rome, if there is in Spartacus it would probably be a goat or a chicken; I know Rome had a bull). Those Romans, always getting up to something. Orange is the New Black is really good, luckily you have someone who will help you watch it more comfortably.

Ugh yeah, not watching. Thank you for the warning cause I was considering continuing it D: Rape was the reason I couldn't continue Game of Thrones, I watched maybe like the first one or two episodes. I'm so done with this being a damn theme because in most shows it just happens and nobody questions it. I just finished watching Jessica Jones and she was also raped but they never showed it. They did a pretty decent job at not normalising it and pointing out that it's a freaking horrible thing and that it will affect the person forever. Omg Penny Dreadful is a master piece. I feel the same, I couldn't care less about human sacrifices in shows but animals just no. They can't defend themselves. Not that human babies can defend themselves...haha. Omg witches __ I really need to catch up with it.
