There's a new post announcing a MAJOR CHANGE TO SHOPS. Old shops are being removed in order to resolve lag issues.

They set limits on galleries. 500 for regular users and 1000 for GA users. So I suggest everyone start removing clusters of items from their galleries before the move. :( so everyone can see this.

i think you can have multiples of the same item, but no more than 500/1000 different items, if that makes sense...

Mainly what I suggested above. Store the extra items in the vault or sell some. I'm sorry about the inconvenience. I'm not trying to be mean. :(

Oh I know you are not being mean, but I hate putting all this items on the vault. It's a pain to look for things there. oh well.

I'm sick about this change. In my largest shop I have nearly 2000 unique items, I really hope I don't have to manually individually move each one to my vault or new shops ugggg But more than that, how is this not going to drive up all the prices, especially for questing? This change seems like it's going to make large chunks of this site more or less unusable/super user unfriendly for who knows how long.

I read your comment on the Shop News post, I hadn't even thought about that! I wonder how many items in my WL are in shops of inactive user!?! 10 days is not enough to sort that out or even get enough sP to pick up that many high end items. This is so upsetting

I have 8113 items in my largest gallery (and a few other galleries with 3000+ items), all of it sorted perfectly. So yeah thanks to subeta for messing up all I basically did on there (collecting items). I don't know if there will be a point to play if they really push this shop changes.

I play this site for fun, collecting pets, and making stories/TC for my pets. I can understand everyone's frustation, but if the team can't afford to get stronger servers or something like that then this is the best option to reduce lag. Pretty suggested using pet treasure chest as galleries, so users who want a large gallery may have to do that.

I doubt it'll help with the lag, they were 'improving' the site for a long time, making changes, and it's still pretty bad. And about 'affording' the servers, I do believe they're getting enough for that, lots of people buys CSC with real money. As for using pet treasure chest as gallery - how can we afford putting over 3000 items (for example my food gallery) while pet treasures are limited, and expanding it would take a lot of sp. That change is just ridiculous. If they put the limit to 4000 I wouldn't complain, but 500/1000 is way too low even for a start/testing. And even the shops/galleries number will be limited, so it's even more stupid.

They say there going to increase the number of items in the future; the number is low right now because they're in testing. Have you seen the announcement?

You should suggest a change to how we search for items in the vault. For example, selecting "weapons" would display all the weapons in your vault. Honestly, I think everyone in the family should make this suggestion so staff will consider it. Everyone should read this post and go to suggestions to suggest what I just said!
