I feel you, the absolute crap I have watched over the years just because Bruce Campbell is in it for like 30 seconds, don't even get me started! Good luck with Salem (Lucy does not play a very nice person, at all. But at least no nudity).
Spartacus mmmmm That'll be a bit rough if you ever manage to watch it. There's A LOT of nudity and sex with Lucy (especially in the second season but also in the others) and depending upon which characters you wind up rooting for she's not a very nice woman. She's very loyal to her husband and to the people she cares about but everyone else is disposable. Her character is very much a good Roman woman, so her views of how you treat people/slaves can be a little hard to be sympathetic toward as a modern viewer. I know I kept telling myself, 'she doesn't know it's wrong...' lol And man does some serious sh*t go down with her character and some really horrible things happen to her (I really had a hard time watching some of it especially in the third season). Overall, I really liked the show though; granted there's a ton of gratuitous nudity, sex and blood, but it was fun to watch. Crixus and Gannicus were my favorites and eventually Glaber (I hated him the first season but wound up really liking him, another one of those characters where you have remind yourself different times and place, different standards). But with Lucy as a mother figure I'm not sure I could, in all good conscience, recommend it.
The advertising forums (and trade center) are so dangerous to your savings. Sometimes I just have to shut the computer and walk away because that is literally the only way to stop myself from spending too much. I have gone through so much sP, forum tickets and (what little) CSC I had in the past few days; it's ridiculous. (The CSC was for the lantern I'm wearing, I was OMG I must have it! Turns out it only really works with light backgrounds which really bummed me out)
I'm so bad at describing things. I think the best I could explain Ash vs Evil Dead is: It's Army of Darkness/Evil Dead II concentrate. It's all the blood (gallons and gallons of it) and laughs of a full length movie compressed into a weekly half hour mini-movie. Almost all of the effects are practical, not CGI, which I think makes them so much more fun. Ash is his classic idiot, oblivious, sexual-harassment self and now he has two side-kicks (which amazingly doesn't suck at all). And Lucy plays a mysterious kick butt lady who is hot on Ash's trail (we don't find out why until like the last episode). The story boils down to: Ash is still working as a stock boy at yet another S-Mart. One night he brings a hot young thing home, gets a bit high, realizes she 'totally digs' poetry so in true Ash form goes 'oh I know, the Book of the Dead, is basically just poetry' reads some to get in her pants and then as expected all hell breaks loss. And then the show starts lol He goes on a road trip with a couple of twenty somethings he works with to try and stop all this 'non-sense' once and for all. As you might expect the plan doesn't really work out. There are so many tips of the hat to classic scenes and elements from the movies, you'll just love it. At one point there are even TWO Ash (again). It's so much fun, I can hardly wait for the next season. I will definitely be buying the DVDs when they come out :D

I haven't actually seen her play an evil character before (well except Xena when the past catches up yet again or more like Ares tries to tap dat again and succeeds) so I'm actually really curious :o
Hmm I have no problem with inhumane behaviour in shows that are set in ancient times or even like now cause unfortunately it still exists and people are usually convinced they're doing the right thing. I can comprehend their view but obviously it's still inhumane... Sounds like the only way I could ever watch it is if I closed my eyes and ears at her sex scenes lol D: I don't really remember being that into it anyway though so maybe that's a good thing. I'd rather watch Xena over and over XD
That lantern is amazing!! I really only started going into advertising forums because you mentioned posts in them. I'm just kinda hoping for a huge giveaway every day but keep bumping into the discounts xD With expensive items like the lantern though, I'd suggest to first try them out in your wardrobe before you buy because I've also been a bit disappointed by items before. I do this all the time now for items over 5mil and ESPECIALLY CWs.

Yeah I generally don't have a problem with inhumane behavior in shows (except rape and animal cruilty) unless they happen to a character I care about and Lucy's character is guilty of 2 out of 3 of those categories lol. I never know how sensative other people are so I try to be mindful when I describe or recommend things. I don't want to walk someone into something like it's nothing if that's going to trigger them and you never know. Yeah by the third season sex scenes are the least of what happens to Lucy's character... I think Sparticus in one of those shows were you're are either into or you're not and I can totally understand both sides. I showed up for the Sam, Rob and Lucy and stayed for the gorgerous half to fully naked men characters ;) lol
Sometimes when something is expensive overall, but a really good price for it (especially in the TC) I don't want to risk losing it by trying it on. I figure if I really don't like it, and I get it at a good price, maybe I can sell it for a little profit later... I had two other CW very much like the lantern in my most wanted CW WL and it was a good price overall so I decided to just go for ;P

- I know what you mean! I see some of the stuff on Sabrina in a completely different light than I originally did (like the cultural appropriation I never noticed when I was a kid). I've also realized that I remember a lot of the plots still. I used to watch the cartoon, too, but I remember liking the original show more.
- I hope you have very little pain, a lot of darkness, as much quiet as you need, and that it goes away fast! I hate the thought of you suffering :(. I will be thinking of you!
Oh god I can't handle those two at all, I get super furious at rape and animal cruelty gives me horrible anxiety == There was rape in Orange is The New Black and I'm SO glad I found out before I watched it cause I just went out of the room and my partner called me back in when it was over ==

It's really really nice of you to mention that kind of stuff though. I wish my friend had told me that there's animal cruelty in penny Dreadful (it was really brief and only in one episode as far as I know, I haven't watched the second season yet BUT OMG. I wish someone had told me. It was a cat as well ugh =_=) Hahahah yeah those I've seen too xD
