Gaia made her way yo Gringotts branch and a few minutes go out looking for Beth. Putting her money in her bag Gaia started pacing around see if she could find her frineds in the see of people. "Roman can you see Beth?"

"Ooh! A Quill shop? Maybe a fancy quill set for my pa to put on his desk at the bank would be good. The shopkeeper says I need to find a place called Cerridwen's Cauldrons, his aren't for sale here." Sam smiled at Magnus' description of his mother. "My pa took me to a Sweetwater All-Stars game once, believe me, playing dirty is part of the game!"

( ) "I bet she fooled a lot of other players who thought she would play nice, Magnus." Quidditch sounded like a brilliant game and Paddy wondered if there might be a book store with a cheap book about the rules. "Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop sounds good," she replied to Sam and Magnus, "I could do with a new quill, and a quill and ink set might work for my mum too." Looking around as the left the potions store she added, "you'll have to say which way to go otherwise I might get totally lost. My sense of direction isn't all that great."

"Let's go to the quill shop first, it seems like we all might find something for a gift there. Then Cerridwen's Cauldrons and then Tome and Scrolls." It was a relief to leave the hot store and Magnus left his coat unbuttoned for a few moments to cool off. "Yeah, small sweet thing like Mum, you'd not reckon she'd be so er... aggressive. She used to play at Hogwarts and professionally," he said laughing, "she knocked me dad off his broom in a game at 'Ogwarts. She was in Ravenclaw and he was in Gryffindor. Visited 'im in the 'ospital wing when he woke and they started dating. 'E still says he swept 'er off her feet, hence the gifts of brooms and such."
They headed towards the Quill shop and his he wished he had more pairs of eyes as there was so much to look at. Quills in all types of colours, sizes and some even that changed shapes and colours. They had all sorts of inks and sets too.

Noticing Beth, Gaia turned to Roman "There she is!" Pointing in Beth's direction. "Time for quill shopping!" Gaia handed Beth a small bag of chocoballs and beamed "Sorry I am late. Roman and I got sidetracked getting more candy!"

() "Sure do! It is right over here. Two shops down." Gaia hurried her pace knowing her friends were waiting.

Millie saw Beth, Roman, and Gaia running towards her. She had just came out of the grocer when she saw the group coming towards her. She waved excitedly at them.

Paddy laughed, "it definitely sounds like she swept him off his feet!" Stepping into the Quill Shop, she was amazed at how many different quills and inks there were. It didn't take long to find a set that would be perfect for her Mum and she found a bottle of colour changing ink that would make those History of Magic essays a lot more interesting to write. But choosing a new quill for herself was proving a little more challenging - they all looked like they would be so smooth to write with, how could you pick one?

He waved at Millie and Beth as they met up in front of Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop. When Gaia pushed open the door, he noticed the walls were covered in quills, parchment, and ink bottles. He wished he still had a sense of smell so he could better appreciate the atmosphere.

"What type of quills are you looking for?" he asked Beth.

The quill shop was too cool and Magnus bought himself a few inks and some quills. He found a nice broomstick quill set he bought for his mum. Then noticed Paddy piling quills in her arms. "Need a few quills do you?" he said with a smirk.

"Do you know what you're getting?" she asked and Millie ().

Sam gaped like a tourist at the number and variety of writing supplies available. When her folks had taken her to Diagonalley for her school supplies, she had been too busy hating everything about London, to pay any attention to the shops. Now that her petulant bout of homesickness had worn off, she was fascinated and amazed by everything about Hogsmeade. The wizard who ran the shop was very helpful, and soon had a fancy desk-set, with a dicta-quill and correctable ink, wrapped up for her. Bounding back to Magnus () and waving her purchase aloft like a trophy, she breathlessly asked, "Where next!?"

"I snapped my last quill," Paddy laughed, "I don't think it was strong enough for writing that last essay. But these should last me the rest of the term at least, along with a bottle of colour changing ink of course." She balanced all the quills on the till before rummaging in her pocket for her money, "did you get everything you were after, Sam?"

Magnus regarded the ladies with a smile, amused at both of them--though not entirely sure why. "Lets 'ead to the Cauldron place so Sam can get the self stirring one for her Mum. Then maybe we can go to Tome and Scrolls. He was surprised when they walked into the Cauldron store of all the options there. Even though he loved potions he didn't need a new cauldron so just loitered around looking aimlessly at all the selections. There certainly was a lot to look at.

"I'm going to stock up for the next term. I need a few spell checking quills. I go through them pretty quick because I'm terrible at spelling" Millie laughed. "I also need an anti-cheating one for tests in Ancient Studies. And a few of my personal favorite, peacock quills. And I better grab some more ink and parchment just to be safe."

Millie reached into her hand bag and counted her galleons and bought her supplies.

"so where are we going next?"

I'd like to stop by Spintwitches Sporting Needs at some point. I want to buy Lyn a Broom Compass and Quaffle. I'd also like to buy myself a Quidditch Starter Kit. Gaia might want to go there too."

Beth turned to and Roman () and asked, "Do you have everything you need here?". She turned back to Millie, "I'm almost done here. I just need to pay for my things."

( ) "I am already grabbing what I need!" Gaia looked down to her filled reusable bag she was using as a basket. "I am running low on everything and I also needed a planner. I have so much going on my to-do lists have becomes rolls of parchment!" Gaia giggled while looking over a purple quill and ink bottle set. "I wonder if they have anything cosmic or galactic around." Gaia went to walk towards the opposite wall, but added "Yes, I also need to go to the sports shop. We can stop at the music shop and then go. I need a new cleaning kit to replace my old one. I also want the new Quidditch maneuver book. I heard it has great insight on broom tricks."

"Yes, I need some more resin. I'd also like to take a quick look to see if there's any new sheet music. I like to look around the sports shop but I don't usually buy anything." Millie switched her shopping basket to her other hand.
