"There were a few places i was hoping i would have time to stop by, Gladrags Wizardwear for sure, then Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop for some tea leafs, then the sweet shop of course, oh and definitely stop by Tomes and Scrolls and if we get it all done maybe stop by the pub after to relax!"
"I wanted to go to Tomes and Scrolls too. I've never been in the other shops to be honest, so I would like to go there as well. And the sound of the pub afterwards is perfect. We might get more people to join us there too".
"Oh i am so happy we are spending the day togethor, maybe we should invite Mae () to join us at Tomes and Scrolls, i know they love to read like us! Perhaps they would want to tag along with the rest to!"

Then, he turned toward Aderyn and held out his hand for Emmy. "It's nice to meet you, Emmy," he exclaimed. "Hufflepuff has done really well with their quidditch team this year," he added, slightly incensed to admit the competition. (, )
"Do you mind if I come with you to Honeydukes?" he asked , pretending to tug on her sleeve. "If it's too crowded, I can always hover above the students and tell you what's in stock."
🌸Seeking:() Gaia just starred at Roman... "I am waiting for you to finish socializing so we can go! If I could drag you with me I would. I need your advantage! I need all the acid pops at the shop!" Gaia started laughing at her mock annoyance. "We need some sweets for the tower party!"
"Alright, alright," Roman laughed, and he and began continuing their walk toward Hogsmeade.
As they drew nearer to the village, he could see the rooftops were covered in snow. A few of the buildings were decorated with glowing baubles and flashing signs. From far away, it looked like a miniature city, the flashy kind muggles left on their tables during Christmas.
🌸Seeking:Millie waves back at Roman. "Hi Roman. It's nice to officially meet you."
"My grandmother loves their chocoballs and my grandfather is fond of their Treacle fudge, so I want to get them some. I always want to see what I can get to make cookies."
Millie thought aloud, "I think it's a good idea I go to all the shops because I'm still unsure what to buy my parents".
"Maybe trouble just knows where to find you," Paddy replied to Magnus (). Or maybe it's a werewolf thing she thought. "I never knew anyone could speak with the Goblins, Sam!" () "I guess he's been pretty successful in his work though?"
Looking round, she realised they must be getting closer to Hogsmeade. "What shop d'you reckon we should go to first?"

"The thing 'bout potions is really timing and measuring. Its kinda like cooking, add too much salt and ain't gonna taste as good but its a learnin' curve. Its a craft and like all crafts, some times it don't work out the first go. Don't give up." They were just getting to the edge of the town. "Oh, I excel at findin' trouble," he said, "managed to get in lots 'o scraps when I lived at the orphanage and I kinda liked it." He had just spotted the potions store, "Let's nip in 'ere for a few see how it looks." He opened the door to a bell chime and let the ladies enter. It would be nice to be in a warm building for a few minutes even if they didn't buy anything. And warm it was, with several potions brewing Magnus got warm enough to have to take off his earmuffs and unbutton his coat.
"Ooh, chocoballs! I should get some too. They're my favorite. I need to finish buying gifts for my parents, sisters and Moony. I also need to restock on quills, parchment and ingredients for Potions. I have a list here somewhere," she said as she searched her pockets.
Emmy walked arm in arm with Aderyn, starting out the entrance hall, following others towards the village. Suddenly a ghost drifted very close to her and she jumped slightly, halting her steps and looking around with a shiver.
Her eyes widened as the ghost of a young man smiled at them, and was surprised as Aderyn introduced them, clearly knowing the ghost.
"Oh, Hello," she said, a bit weakly. She knew there was a Hogwarts student that was a ghost, but she had never met him. Having grown up with muggles and read a lot of ghost stories when she was younger, she was still a bit afraid of the ghosts that floated around the castle. Roman seemed quite nice though, so she took a deep breath and smiled.
She gulped slightly as he extended his hand in welcome to her, and reached out, trying not to seem hesitant. Her hand, of course, went right through his, and she shivered slightly as she felt the icy chill go right through her mitten. His comment about Quidditch, however, made her grin.
"Yes! You guys are going to have to try harder to beat us!" she teased them both. "Maybe I should try out for Quidditch next year, I'd love to be a chaser!"

() "Since we are here let me introduce you to Mr. Flume, the son of the original owner,we met years ago when my dad brought him some of our owls. I am going to see if my order is ready. We do need some Mystery candies, bertie bott's chocolate frogs, sugar quills, pepper imps, and whatever other candies we need for the tower!"
Aderyn saw Emmy's () guarded expression as she introduced Roman and remembered that muggles have ghosts all wrong. She was glad when the two hit it off over quidditch, though, feeling content that her best friend was adjusting well to the magical world.
They strolled down the path and soon they were on the edge of Hogsmeade. Aderyn paused and glanced around, watching some of their fellow classmates disappear into various shops. Noticing a sign for the Emporium, she pointed down the road, tugging on Emmy's sleeve.
"Pet shop's this way!"
"Oh, yeah. He is my dad's friend. I think it is his fault I have an acid pop obsession. Last Christmas he made a special batch with pink and purple. They were amazing!"
"I love chocoballs! I can only eat about half of one though because they are so sweet. But they are delicious. I also need to get more supplies for classes" Millie pulls her list from her handbag. "I would like to get a new quill or two. It seems like I always need more potion supplies.
Ohh, I better pop into Dominic Maestro's shop to get some resin for my cello. And maybe check to see if he has any new sheet music."
As they entered the potions store, Paddy was pleased she hadn't worn her thickest jumper. The heat rising from the bubbling potions was enough to make it feel like the middle of summer, rather than winter. "Do you think they brew ice potions in the summer?" she whispered to Sam and Magnus, "otherwise we'd have to go shopping in swimwear it'd be so hot!" Rummaging in her pockets, she eventually found the folded piece of parchment she was looking for, with her list of potions ingredients she needed to stock up on.

Magnus chuckled at the thought of shopping in swimsuits. "They probly put a charm or something, make it feel cooler. I suspect that's why potions is taught in the dungeons cos its colder. Still, we'll be nice and hot so when we leave it'll be a relief don't you think?" He started perusing the isles picking up some ingredients here and there. Those he didn't plan on buying, he put back where they belonged.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Paddy replied, although she did wonder if the room temperature had to be kept this warm for the potions to brew. It would explain why her Uncle's house was always so warm. Gathering the last few potion supplies she needed, she balanced them all on the till as she rummaged for the coins in her pockets.

He wasn't sure if he was supposed to reply or not. The heat of the store helped him not want to linger too long though so he picked grabbed the last few herbs he needed to restock on and joined Paddy at the till. He didn't see anything that he could really gift his parents at this shop and thus mentally crossed it off his list. "What are you thinkin' of getting your folks?" he asked the girls. "'Aven't got a clue meself."
