"It's really fun. You should come out for a school match sometime to see if you like it. Then you'll need to go to a professional game"
() "I love that dress a lot! I think I saw some pink slippers somewhere around here." Gaia went towards the shoe rack to help Millie get what she needs before heading out.
( ) "You coming, Paddy?" Then looked at Beth "if you want to stop at the books store first you can go with Paddy and meet the others. I can wait for Millie and then we can go together to Spintwitches before going back to the castle."
"I thought I saw a pair but I don't remember where" Millie said going through the shoes
"I'll help you look for options!" Gaia started moving shoes around the rack. "They have or " holding up some options. "I figured we could go for comfort-chic since your dress is long. That way you can dance all night! There are a ton of flats here though!" Gaia held up a pair of for Millie to see.
"Okay! I'll see you later," she bid farewell to and Millie ().
", wait for me! I want to go to Tomes and Scrolls too," Beth shouted outside Gladrags Wizardwear.
"Hmm. Those are pretty. I really like these and . But these are really nice too . I don't think they need to be too fancy since it's a long dress. I just need them to be comfortable"
"Bye Beth. See you later"
() "All of them work. Try them one and walk a little see which ones are the most comfortable."
Millie slipped on the . "Oh, these are nice." And then tried on the rest. I think I'll go with the first pair.
"They are really cute! I like them because you can wear them at any time after the ball!"
"You're right. And they are super comfy." Millie added them with the dress that was going to be sent up to Hogwarts later
"It's yours. Happy Christmahaunakwanzayule..., or whatever you wanna celebrate. The pictures with this little wand symbol next to them are charmed." Sam said, pointing to a picture of a thunderstorm "Just tap them with your wand like this" She tapped the picture, and the smell of rain-washed desert sage surrounded them along with a low rumble of thunder and the hiss of the rain as it moved across the page before them. "Seriously, I do miss the desert sometimes, but hey, I can't sit in the sagebrush all my life if I'm gonna be a dragonologist someday." She paused then laughed. "I'll take you up on those dance lessons. Hope you have some sturdy shoes, cause I can't promise I won't trample your toes."
(OOC) man,you guys were posting demons while I was sleeping.
He stared at the book and then at her. "For me?" he said with obvious awe, "wow, thank you so much." It meant a lot because she was sharing something that she loved in the form of something he loved. "I'm not finished with yours yet," he admitted, "but I am working on it. Probly 'ave it for ya after Christmas. I know it'll be late, but I think you'll understand why when ya see it." He smiled. "Don't worry, I'm sure me toes will survive. And maybe after you get the 'ang of it, you can get Chua ta dance with ya," he said winking.
() "I'll have to check when the next game is, as I really want to watch one. I need to find out the rules before I watch a match though, otherwise I won't have a clue what's going on"
( ) Paddy paused and waited for Beth to catch up. Her sense of direction might not be fantastic, but she'd spotted the book store a little way up the road so for once she had very little chance of getting lost.
Walking into the book store, the distinctive aroma of books hit her nostrils. Everyone thought she was weird, but she enjoyed the smell of older books almost as much as she enjoyed reading them. At the end of a row of bookshelves she spotted Magnus and Sam sitting in the easy chairs, surrounded by piles of books. Paddy wasn't sure she wanted to interrupt them, but her puppy had other ideas and pounced onto Magnus' lap.
( )

Magnus hadn't noticed Beth and Paddy enter the book store. He did however notice the ball of fluff pouncing on him. A surprised yelp escaped his lips. "'Llo there," he said. He gave the dog a pat and then gently shifted her off of him. He didn't have any problems with dogs per se, he didn't understand them well. Cats he got--which was kinda backwards considering what he was. "'Ey Beth, 'Ey Paddy."
"Sorry about that," Paddy was finding it hard to not laugh at Magnus' reaction, "I think she just got a little overexcited at seeing someone new." Looking at the piles of books, she added "you planning on buying all of these, or have you read most while we were looking at clothes?"

"I reckon you lot are tryin' ta kill me," he said shaking his head. Talking to the dog, "now, we don't jump on people with out asking first, you 'ear." He gave Paddy a slight glare not sure if she was making fun of him about his books. "Buying them all. I 'ad to weed 'em down though. 'Had near a hundred at first, then the clerk told me how much it'd cost and 'e helped me widdle it down ta these 35 books 'ere. Well 36 now, but one's already been paid for... "
"You should've seen Gaia helping me pick out stuff for this little pup," Paddy said, grinning at Magnus, "I think we probably found a similar amount of things to your books. Hopefully they do a delivery service here too, otherwise you might not have any spare hands to check out the sweets at Honeydukes."

"Wow, you have quite the collection here, Magnus ()!"
"Have you found anything interesting, Sam?" ()
Beth turned to , and asked, "Do you need help finding a particular book?"
Paddy smiled at Beth, "I definitely need a book on wizarding dog care, and there's a couple of other ones I was wanting to look for, but I should be able to track them down." She headed off to scan the shelves, gathering up a few books in her arms. "Was there anything you were needing to get?" she called over her shoulder.
