"Pet shop sounds good! I need treats for my owls and some things for the club!" Gaia finished her butterbeer and stood up.
'Its pretty easy," he said with a faint blush, "reckon you'll get the charm faster than I did." He stood up and waited for the group. Maybe the pet store would have a present he could by for his cat Kippers.

Paddy laughed as Magnus blushed "I'll probably end up turning everything bright pink by accident." She stood up, wondering if everyone was ready; she wanted to get a massive box of owl treats for Mouse.

() "I'm READY! LET'S GO!" Gaia was excited.
They left the warmth of the Three Broomsticks and he pointed to a building that to him looked a little furry. "I reckon its that one."
((OOC NOTE:
Hi guys! So that there's no overlap with the ball roleplay, I'll be closing this up on the 22nd. So please keep that in mind and start winding down your shopping!))
Millie wrapped herself up in her coat, scarf, and hat and gathered all her goods and followed the group outside and made her way to the pet store to get some treats for Cleo. She wanted to participate in the conversation but was too cold to open her mouth
Sam sauntered along with the rest of the group, content to browse through all of the shops they stopped at. With needing to save for a new broom on her mind, she bought very little, but oohed and aaahed over the at the amount and variety of magical merchandise in all the stores they wandered into.
Aderyn tugged at Emmy's sleeve, urging the other girl to finish up her last sip or two of butterbeer and they chased after the rest of the group pouring out of the shop. She jogged along to catch up to the rest as they entered the first shop on their list. Looking over, she noticed Millie shivering and smiled sympathetically at the girl.
"I know how you feel; I don't think I'll ever get used to this weather!"
Walking into the pet shop, Paddy quickly looked the other way from the rats. It wouldn't be a good idea to start chasing some of the shopkeeper's stock, especially if she wanted to buy owl treats and be allowed to come back into the shop again another time. Deciding to sort out her purchase before browsing the rest of the stock, she gathered up a few boxes, headed for the till and promptly tripped over something, letting the boxes fly across the store. Cursing her clumsiness she tried to pick up the boxes before anyone noticed, but she was sure everyone else would've heard the crash.

Gaia was skipping through the snow "What do you mean? The weather is perfect!" Gaia guessed no one had noticed how little coverage she had. Growing up in the forest has its advantages.
Making her way to the shop Gaia knew she needed to ask for her order of treats and toys. As she walked to the till and waved at the shop keeper she watched in slow motion as fell. "Paddy! Are you okay?" Gaia whispered hoping no one noticed. "Did you take a look at what your stumbled on? Let me get these boxes for you. Are you hurt?"
Paddy blushed as she gathered up the boxes with 's help. "Yeah, I'm fine, other than feeling like a prat. I caught my paw on something and tripped." Looking behind her, she noticed a white bushy tail sticking out from behind the counter. "I think that's probably what I tripped over," she added, nodding towards the bushy tail as she walked over to see what creature it was.

Gaia giggled 's reaction. "I think you should go say hi! I will take care of your owl treats... and Paddy? Let them smell you first." Gaia winked and took the boxes of treats to the till.
"Thanks," Paddy said with a smile as she handed the boxes over to . Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the creature and discovered it was a fluffy dog - or should that be a very large puppy, as it looked like it still had some growing to do. Feeling surprisingly calm considering she didn't know the dog, she crouched down and waited for it to sniff her. After having had a werewolf trip over its tail, she fully expected the dog to run away, but it moved closer and licked her paw. Running her paw through its fur, she spotted Gaia watching her, and smiled. "Do you think Mouse could get along with a dog?" she asked, knowing her friend was much more knowledgeable about animals than she was.

() Gaia was smiling at her friend and the puppy "I think it will be okay. Mouse is very independent and loving. Also as long as you pay attention to both you should be okay." Gaia giggled "It is almost as if Fate had come your way today. Apparently the puppy just made it to the shop. She was delivered today. No one knows where her parents are or who her owners were." Gaia was all ready walking towards the dog items on the far wall.
"That's definitely a good omen," Paddy replied, heading over to the dog items was looking at. The puppy followed on close behind her, apparently having decided that it wanted Paddy to be its new owner. "Despite my er condition, I haven't a clue on dog things though," she said quietly, "what kind of stuff will I need to get?"

Gaia turned around laughing with her hands full of stuff. "I figured I should help!" Giggling Gaia handed the beautiful puppy a chew toy in the shape of a wand. "I guess wizards have a sense of humor about muggle toys in the wizarding world! I love dogs." Gaia bent down with her hands full to scratch the pup's head.
"I all ready added some of the dog food to the order I had placed. The owner went to the back to look for it and the food. You will need at least 3 to 4 toys in case she is a toy destroyer. A rope one would be great that way she can play tug-o-war, some treats, vitamins, a collar and leash." Gaia thought for a second "They have poopy trash bags here, but you can always use magic. It is up to you, but I can always help you learn all the muggle ways with a pup. During vacation time it will help to go see a professional to give her a check up and they will tell you if she needs shots and such." Handing Paddy some shampoo and brush Gaia made her way to the register. "There are some things you will learn to make on your own to save time and money. I have a muggle book about dog care if you want to read it." Before Paddy could say anything the shop owner had come back with her huge club order and the dog for food for at least 2 months. "I will also be paying for these." Handing the shop owner dog treats, a bed, a few toys, and a purple leash with sparkling wands that moved from time to time. "Can you deliver these to Hogwarts? I can get there in about two hours." Gaia said to the shop keeper who smiled and agreed.
Paddy stared at wondering how she'd managed to gather up so much stuff in such a short space of time. She was grateful for her knowledge though, as she wouldn't have a clue where to start otherwise.
"That'd be helpful to learn the muggle ways as well," she replied, "my parents like to try and get me to do things the muggle way at home sometimes, just to learn the hard way of doing stuff. I'd love to borrow that book too." Before Paddy could say anything else, Gaia had taken the items to the till and paid. "You'll have to tell me how much I owe you for the dog stuff," she said, pulling her money from her pocket to pay the shop owner for the puppy, "and those owl treats too."

Gaia waved a dismissive hand "Just consider it your Christmas presents! Also I call dibs and playing with your pup once you are both settled!" Gaia handed some treats to Paddy and bent down to the pup "Now, now. If you are to live in a castle you need to learn manners." Gaia raised her left hand while saying "sit". As the dog followed her hand movement she sat "Here you go! Good pup!" Gaia handed the pup the treat and scratched behind her ear. "You have a really smart pup !"
