"Beth I found this cute coat. I'm thinking of trying to go as Captain Hook!" said Hannah happily. "Ahem," coughed Caleb. "What?" said Hannah with a sign. "Well don't you think you should be Wendy since I'm going as Peter?" said Caleb winking. "In your dreams pixie boy!" said Hannah. Caleb laughed it off even though he was hiding some rage. He admired Peter for being so free willed and spirited. "I found a pretty cool top hat. I'm thinking of going as John from Peter Pan. Captain Hook with John, might be interesting." said Deme looking at Hannah playfully. Hannah laughed.

"On the contrary, most classic fairy tales are quite gruesome and rarely have 'happy endings'. The ones you're thinking of have been altered to tell children. Original fairy tales were told by adults to adults or parents to their children to make them behave. You should look at the Brother's Grimm Fairy Tales sometime. They would invite people to come tell them their stories and wrote them all down. You'd be really shocked. Like in Cinderella. The step sisters cut off their toes and heels to get their feet into the glass slipper. But I think Sleeping Beauty is the worst."

Gaia nodded to herself going through the racks.

"Lets see. We can begin with something subtle and work our way through dresses and see how comfortable you are." Gaia had already started draping dresses over her arm.

"Try these. I am not sure what will be best but there is a short one in there!" Handing the dresses to Paddy Gaia went back to looking for more.

Fairy tales have been altered throughout history. Fairy tales were originally told verbally, but then became literary tales. The Grimm brothers did write down and edit fairy tales. Paddy would've said more, but found a pile of dresses being handed to her by . One of the dresses felt surprisingly nice against her fur as she carried it towards the mirror. Uncertain of her confidence at wearing a short dress, she pulled on the Playful Red Panda Fabric. Despite her dislike of dresses, it felt comfortable, and much to her surprise she didn't feel too self conscious at the shortness of it. "What do you reckon?" she asked, walking back over to Gaia. "I think I might need to wear different shoes though," she added, spotting her reflection in the mirror.

"Aw, thank you. My grandmother showed me a way to braid by hair so that it looks longer than it really is. I just need to find a dress."

"I have a copy in the Hufflepuff common room you're more than welcome to borrow"

She started looking through the racks. "What color should I go with?" She asked no one in particular.

Cardamom grinned at gingerbread cookie comment and flashed her teeth in a large smile. "Oh, always, darling." Her stomach growled and she chuckled to herself while she put her stomach in its place - they had already stopped at the Three Broomsticks after all.

But really, she had no idea what to dress up as. She wasn't much for princess-y outfits. The outfits was pulling for Paddy were pretty gorgeous though. Maybe she could think about it and see what Paddy chose and possibly get some inspiration there.

"I'd love to borrow it sometimes please." Paddy still couldn't get her head around her friends all being in different houses - it seemed so strange when they all went their separate ways to the common rooms each day.

Hearing 's stomach growl, Paddy pulled a chocolate frog from her bag and handed it over. "Shopping makes me hungry so I always come prepared."

"I never thought I'd say this, but this is such a nice dress, I'm going to buy it even if I don't end up wearing it to the Ball," Paddy said to . "Are you sure you're note getting any commission from these shop owners with the excellent things you're finding for us?"

Gaia laughed turning to "I should work something out! I know the Madam and her husband that own the store. I guess I am connected because of what my dad does for a living, but I do get out of season wears from time to time!"

"I reckon after this shopping trip, you'll be getting owls for the next week from grateful shopkeepers," Paddy laughed as she went to change back out of the dress.

"Probably! I know the Flume family will most likely send a thank you note. They are good friends with my dad and I loooooooove Acid pops!"

Paddy made a mental note to buy as many boxes of Acid Pops as she could find in Honeydukes as a thank you for 's help and knowledge. Handing her still unnamed puppy a treat, she went to pay for her dress. She didn't need any sports supplies, so decided to head on to the book store, hoping that Sam () and Magnus () were still there, seeing as Gaia looked like she was in her element looking through the dresses to help everyone pick something.

"Thanks. I was leaning towards that one. I love the color."

"Of course. Whenever it is good for you. Just let me know. Also, I don't need any sports supplies either so if you don't mind, I'll come with you to the book store."

"Thanks. Given that I can trip over things, I thought it was safer to avoid any sports - especially those involving broomsticks!" Paddy laughed, "any idea where the book store is?"

"Same here. I'd much rather watch. I know where it is. I'm horrible at directions, so you can follow me."

Millie paid for the dress and asked for the dress to be delivered to Hogwarts.

"I've never seen a game of Quidditch yet, but it sounds like it should be incredible to watch. I'm happy to follow - I stink at directions, so I always get lost the first time I go somewhere," Paddy laughed "you'd think by now I'd learn to read a map or something."
