She did a little loop around on her broom.

"Gaining confidence slowly. Letting go with one or both hands is still scaring the life out of me, but I'm getting there!"

"Your doing brilliantly," he said smiling brightly.

"Used to them or not, we'd all much rather have you here with us than up in hospital!"

She smiled and watched the quaffle from where she hovered, making sure no one made a break for the hoops while she wasn't watching.

"Ta for that," he said. Noticing Aderyn doing her job he realised he was chatting too long. "Better go scan for more of those bludgers." He zoomed off just time time to whack another one off its course.

Aderyn waved Magnus off as he chased off after a bludger.

"Keep up the great work!"

Turning around and shooting off towards the goal posts, she hovered around them once again, watching for the chasers.

"You too," he called back, not entirely sure she heard him or not.

Beth speedily flew with the Quaffle. She waited for the perfect moment to pass the Quaffle back to Poppy (). "Catch," she shouted.

Thanks! I definitely need a faster broom though. Hey Magnus! Don't use that cracked bat It'll shatter on you for sure. Then you will end up in the hospital wing. Mine's a little heavier than the school ones, cause it's made of Mexican Ironwood and Maple." Sam fished the bat out of the back of her jersey and, flying up to Magnus, offered it to him.

"Cheers," he said sliding the cracked one down his back and taking the offered bat. He had been wondering if he should risk going to the ground and grabbing another bat or not. "Appreciate the loan."

In her distraction, a Bludger nearly made impact with her left ear. Poppy had just avoided it by turning her head to investigate the whipping sound it made as it zoomed by her head. She tightened her helmet strap and decided to fly directly above Beth () until she found a chance to practice passing the Quaffle with a short drop.

Gaia flew in at high speed and did a few loops. She had been so focused on what she was doing she missed out on the celebration.
