It feels very intrusive and I am not a fan of it. Will we be given the option to remove this 'feature'?

Edit: I usually enjoy stalking the Hustler so it's not that I am not interested it's just kind of annoying.

I agree that it's great to know when there's a new item being sold by the Hustler. It makes sense that it should be available for everyone, not just those of us who've joined a ping group.

HOWEVER, when that banner was at the top of the page I was not able to get rid of it by clicking on the X. I tried over and over. Finally, I had to go to the hustler and tell him "no thanks." It slowed me down--I hope that can be fixed.

Is there CSS code or something to remove this? Not a fan.

Hmm, not sure if I like this. Having him at the top of the Cash Shop pages is ok, but everywhere in Subeta? I feel kinda stalked by the Hustler. I do visit him often, but I don't want it the other way round :P

Keith, mine is covering the top menu so I can't access them. I have CSS coding, so maybe that's why?

Yeah it just reminds me of Gaia when they tried to send out a message every time there was a flash sale on gaia cash. It gets annoying very quickly, especially to those who don't have the CSC to buy things from Hustler. I think the people who buy from the Hustler know he's there, and have joined the ping group if they want to always know what he has. I don't think we need a big flashy reminder.

i don't like this. it's so distracting and pushy. i prefer to get pings and i know where the hustler is if i ever want to buy from him. it would be nice to have an option to turn this on or off. :(

Don't we already have daily things on the news page? Could he be added there? Or another area with useful links could be added? I am sure there are plenty of things that newbies would miss out on that could be added.

It doesn't act well with my CSS and wouldn't go away after the first 5 or 6 clicks of the 'x'. Really hope there's an option to turn it off in user prefs if you decide to roll it out.

I understand that, but it's far too close to an advert for comfort and I don't see it being well received... Perhaps a banner within the cash shop itself is more appropriate, above the items/boutique pages? Once people know who he is I'm sure they'll stumble over to the ping group eventually.

I hope the information isn't going to result in more advert banners - and if it does can we please have the option to disable them :)?

I just want to say that I love the idea of this. But as of right now I don't like the excecution. At first it looked like some ad or something and then I realized it was from Subeta and still (too lazy to actually read it) narrowly clicked the Buy button. I'm not sure if there is a confirmation after clicking buy, but I hope so as this is taking CSC from users and not sP. Not only that, but with Subeta's tendency to page jump, I don't doubt that if it was left like this more than a couple people would be clicking it with no fault of their own besides a page jump.

If you guys are doing this because you need money then I'd suggest hand picking his items temporarily and maybe making a news post or something with a little event, but if this is just because you like the idea of him being like a sleazy dude offering his wares on the streets then I think it would work better as a frequent RE that links to his CS page to remind people to check him out. Or honestly, just change the NPC. lol I know it sounds dumb, but

So yeah, I like that you're trying to make a decent CSC sink more well known, but as of right now I'm not into this whole forced upon you alert things with "Buy" buttons bigger than the opt out button.

I don't like this at all, it's annoying and it first appeared when I went to one of my pet's profiles so it interfered with the profile. Very annoying.

I don't care for this. It reminds me of Farmville, with the constant barrage of pops ups trying to get you to spend money. No thank you.

Unpopular opinion: but I like this. I'm stalking for beanbags in the cash shop and this helps my stalking.

Can I suggest an alternative? I would love to be able to sign up for hustler alerts from the hustler himself. 'Gossip quickly spreads that the hustler has insert item tag in stock'

• It's not bothering everyone
• you have a choice to sign up
• no longer dependant on a ping group that you have to know about

Not gonna lie, thought this new ad had broken my phone earlier! I was browsing on my phone at work and got the ping alert for a new release and went to the page to see what was there. The banner was on the top of the page and then followed me around a page or two after and I just assumed it was some glitch. I haven't seen it on my desktop yet so I can't give full feedback, but it did not play well on my Android.

Having this on EVERY PAGE EVER is VERY intrusive. What i would suggest is having it in the CS Hustler page, your Inventory and the News page, that's it. I'd also make the opt out more pronounced, and please someone make sure there's a confirm just like IN the Hustler shop that you're really buying it when you click buy.

It took me months to find and decide to join the hustler ping group, so I do agree that having the banner is helpful to those who don't forum much/at all.

Nope. Not a fan. I know the site needs money but this is a bit overkill. I hovered over the item because I'd never seen it before and then I quickly X'd out of it. If you want my money this is NOT the way to go about getting it.
