This had probably been said several times already but I'd LOVE a goat pet! No, a devonti doesn't count since it's more of a bighorn sheep. I had a goat when I was little and the recent Oatmeal contest made me really miss having one. I'd love to have a goat like whatever breed oatmeal is.

I'd be so happy for a seahorse-themed pet or even an experiment. Hell, I'd be thrilled to have a seahorse-themed experiment. ;_; pls

I'd like to see a mole!

Pretty sure this one's been mentioned before, but a domestic pig or wild boar-inspired pet would be wonderful!

Also, hyena hyena hyena! They're such interesting animals, it'd be so cool to see how they could inspire the artists on subeta and what kind of pet would result from that!

Other ideas: hummingbird, wombat, sloth, caterpillar (with a butterfly as the angelic, and maybe even the reborn, colors), jackalope, angora rabbit, guinea pig, gorilla, pterasaur, kiwi (or similar bird), and I'd really, really love to see a canine species inspired by one of the 'bully breeds' of dogs (such as Pit Bulls) that people are often prejudiced against.

These might be more personal things, but I'd like to see;

Oarfish, Pitbull/wrinkly dogs, wild boar, seal, fighting fish, annnnnnnnd maybe some sort of humanoid alien thing? I know we can't have anything too anthropomorphic, but it'd be fun to see what staff does with an alien pet. P: What about something like minior? A living asteroid/star/what have you might be fun. We could also have stuff based on mythology. Djin, thunderbirds, and wendigo-based pets would be awesome, imho.

Can we have a pelican pet? We have areas that correspond to where pelicans are spotted (Delphi and Omen Islands) so I think it could work. Only issues I guess would be designing that large bill.... ;)

I'm sure this has been said, but give me a regular bear or give me death. The Chai is cute and all but I really want a grizzly like bear like the Tempest. Her design is so cool, it's one of my favourites on the site. That said, I'm not asking for a /regular/ bear. Something amped up, but just with the general shape of a grizzly. Give it like a shark tail or something lmao idk. ETA: I'm dumb because we do have the Anyu, but honestly the design's so fluffed up that I couldn't even remember it was bear-like. I just want to see mini Tempests running around. Her giant claws + her horns, man. :< I know I can get an overlay but bEARS. Or pls revamp the Anyu with much longer claws it needs something better than dog claws.

I'm kinda surprised not to see this here, but... I know we have Terracoon, that is supposed to be somewhat of a raccoon, but it lacks my favorite raccoon parts, like those little hands and that fur!

I wonder if it's a plausible idea? Though newer ideas might be given priority.

Not sure if it's been said, but a pet based after the Thylacine (tasmanian tiger) would be absolutely adorable! I always loved their narrow / super large jaw proportions compared to their relatively long/low body sizes.

Edit: I see someone did mention Thylacine somewhere back, and I super endorse a Hyena themed pet too

Well, when I think of experiment, I think of cockroach. When I think of cockroaches I think of insects. When I think of insects, I think of the possibility of owning a beetle as a pet or experiment pet. They are kind of cute, to be honest.

I need a pig type pet to make Pua into! Good lord, It took me forever to realize it, but really the closest thing we have to a pig is the Hippotu, which is obviously a hippo-type and not even really that close to a pig. ;-; I would really like a cute little pig type pet. We got the elephant and mantis type pets everyone wanted in the beginning of this thread. (Admittedly I did not go through and read every post in this thread, but I see a lot of people suggesting boar and pig here from what I did read.) That would be amazing!

Looking at my post from ages ago I realized that by now two of my suggestions are Pets now - Zentu and Zasaba.

Pets I would love to see as well in the future are:

• a pig

• a seal

The pig I personally would prefer not to be too cute, my big dream is a badass Nightmare boar. <3

I'd like to see become a standard pet (as per the blob, qrykee, and yaherra). Seconding the suggestions of badger, hyena, spider, hog, thylacine, goat (as per Oatmeal), nightjar, and possibly star-nosed mole. Also, more kitties and puppers are always welcome (doubly so if they're a weird take on it).

ETA: It should be noted that when I say "hog," I mean "wild boar" or "warthog" or "red river hog" or "daeodon," although that last wasn't really in the pig family. As in: Okkotonushi territory. Maybe even—just for that "weird" factor—an up-scaled razorback version of that cute little Slepig, only with a wicked set of tusks?
