I fly at least once or twice a year and no it's not my favorite thing to do (I'm rather scared of it myself, and honestly with this old body it's physically painful), but I've been doing it so I could see my mom and sister. The look on their faces when they answer the door and I'm there has been worth all of it. We are all genuinely excited to see each other.

Mom was very happy I was there and so was I as painful as it was. hugs&

Gotta shut down the computer, storm has arrived.

RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Finally a little break in the weather. Still have a tornado watch for another hour, but it seems to have settled down for now.

Yea. The first one was that big tornado that hit Joplin Missouri. I lived about 2 miles outside the zone. Worse was if I had made a different choice that day on my way home from work, I would have been in it and who knows the results for me. The next one was in Branson Missouri that hit. The roof of the place I was staying in came down on top of me. I had no clue what happened. I thought the building collapsed cus I had been sound asleep. I freaked not knowing where my dogs were at under it. Lucky they came crawling out from under stuff to me.

Good Lord, how terrifying. I have a relative in Joplin. That area seems to get it a lot.

Glad that you and your doggies are okay.

Living in the Midwest it seems like the only season exempt has been winter... and I hate winter. :)

I hate winter too. Way to cold. BUT I can at least put more clothing on in winter. They frown upon me pulling a Fresh and being naked in the summer in public. HAHA.

Lol, I on the other hand can never put on enough clothes to be warm in Winter. It really bites and the cold makes my neck and shoulders hurt which inevitably leads to a migraine.

Please don't be confused. Everyone needs to pick a number because of a "damage" scale that will be in place in the three battle featured in this plot. You can't very well do an adventure that is about a war between the factions of Faerie and is partially "Firefly" based without actual combat and some consequences.

The scales for both personal, vehicle, and mode have already been generated by my wonderful crew, but I haven't seen them yet, either, in respect to impartiality. If you do not pick a number and turn it in BEFORE the RP is due, I will pick one for you (which you may not like.)

You only need to pick a number ONCE.

Unless otherwise indicated, your companions are always with you!

I hate to fly, too, hun!

Thank you for the nice explanation , perhaps that will also help some on the team IF they were confused like me..

, more of an explanation of the numbers if need one. We have three numbers for chars.. waiting for the rest but I sent the team number. crosses fingers because it was her lucky number

Me too unfortunately, I have chronic muscle pain that always manages to lead to a migraine and it ends up in my eye on whatever side is messed up. Makes me feel ill. Been dealing with them since I was about 18... which was a really long time ago. I hope you find relief for yours. I understand about the cold bothering your wrist, does the same for the toe I broke tripping over a fan cord.

I'm scared of heights too and always make sure that I get an aisle seat, lol. The only thing I like about flying is landing safely where I need to be.

Yea the landing safe is the main part when flying. I have only flown twice...back in 2001. So its been forever. Thats how much I LOVE flying. Plus side I won't take much with me. I am a light traveler. I should get it all on a carryon.

I had tests and everything done to see what causes my headaches. Nothing to be found. They are just there. :( Stupid doctors. I just tend to take some pain stuff to help when they get to bad.

when I fly I'm usually gone for a bit so I ship my clothes ahead of time, I hate dealing with that. Still have my carry on of course.

Well I've been there too. Lots of tests, no real answers. hugs

Not sure if they checked for this or not/if it even applies. But my brother had horrid migraines for years where he couldnt leave his quiet dark room. Anything made it worse.

He also used to get sinus infections many times in a year. So they checked for a deviated septum for that bit. Ends up with it fixed, the migrained disappeared also. Likely due to pressure and such. But it seems common for the nose to relate to the headaches. If not that I hope they get you on migraine meds! Idk how we would have survived before the nose surgery with out em.
