You're so right when you say time heals but never completely. My sister passed when she was only 37 and that was a long time ago. I miss her as much today as I did then, but my mom just passed in March and I wonder how long it will take to get to the point where I can remember with maybe a little less pain. That's not to say that I am unable to laugh and enjoy life because I do. There just are those times when it just crashes down upon me, I let it out and pick myself back up.

Don't beat yourself up over negative thoughts because I think there are very few children who have not thought horrible things about their parents at one point or another in time, me included.

Besides wanting to send out hugs, love and cookies to those of you who shared and any one else of us who needs it, I do have a special situation that cropped up:

, who just finished an intense round of "degree getting" is now back and ready to throw herself into Subeta again, and she found the Wayward Squirrel. She wants to join in, and normally, this would be a "sorry, no room" for me, BUT she's a bit different!

When I was running my "Holiday HA and Storytelling" contests, she just plain rocked. Several times she won by creating awesome looks, and also giving us great storylines! So, I have no idea if any of you have lost someone off your team, or just plain need a set of extra mitts, or if might like a partner, but, if at all possible, it would be cool to have her aboard.

Anyone interested?

PS. This is an "add-on," NOT a subtraction. Anyone who tries to bail out here gets me tracking them down. :D

We're 7 people already, so I think it'd become a bit much for our group, I'm so sorry :( I do congratulate you for finishing college though, that's awesome! Hope you find a place in a group and enjoy the Wayward Squirrel! c:

Oh, I agree. Eight is too high a number, but seven does work well.

Well, even with seven people, I sometimes find it hard to find something special to do for everyone in a rp, especially when it is about a relatively simple task. On the other side, that's more personalities to play with, and a bigger choice of characters/skills, which is also nice. Sooo... yeah, I'm absolutely fine with seven right now :)

... and WS is such a good place for that! I don't do much other roleplay (maybe I should), but WS got me hooked from year one. (Also I just read your pirate story and I'm loving it!)

If there has been no success in finding a group to join you could always join us in the Chimeriad. We've had one member basically make a character and never show up again (We've been writing her character stories for her) and coming up we have a lot of people who might not be able to make it online due to weddings, RL stuff and whatnot. If you'd be interested in helping us work with already created characters, I'd be more than happy to have you with us.

Warning: Our group is a bit of a mess this is our first Wayward Squirrel Event.

I'd love to help write! It'll probably give me a chance to get a feel for the kind of character I'd like to have in future as well as get my feet wet since this is a different kind of Roleplay than I'm used to. I'll definitely keep you posted on that, thank you so much!

You will also need to read up on the chapters you missed. And of course I remember. You blew away those judges, and won both categories! Cyroris, Please let me know which member has never showed, and they will be replaced. You should never have to cover for one who doesn't communicate the reasons why he or she might be absent.

Well, to fill you in, here is a thread with synopsises of the last two years, but I don't think you need those if reading them takes you too long. What might interest you is the NPC who-is-who and some general questions.

And then, we have a thread for every chapter, and a matching OOC thread. The OOC threads are to be found in the rp planning subforum while the actual chapters will be in the main rp forum. It's usually very informative and helpful to read the current OOC thread, as lots of people have the same questions, and just ask away if you have more!
