I have set about getting a 2nd job today to make extra money to afford to go back and visit. Not something I desire doing, BUT if it gets me money to make a trip then I will do it.

I have the interview monday and its pretty much a sure thing. Just going to have to try to work it around my current job. That the only problem I foresee. BUT they have always been good about that at this place when I worked there before so it shouldn't be to huge of a thing. Figure work a few nights a week...bring home an extra $140 a week to put aside to buy plane tickets. It should work out. Just hate giving up my free time. I refuse to work Tuesday tho. It is my ONLY day off from my other job and I will not work on it. NOPE! It took me 3 years just to get that one day...I am not giving it up.

I looked last night and anywhere from about 400-600. I wish I had the funds to book it now for August but I have to make sure I can go then and then I would have the funds then to be able to cover other expenses and right now I don't have that. So odds are the ticket will cost a little more since it will almost be last minute and they charge more for that. WHICH is stupid. You would think they would charge less cus HEY you want to get the plane full. But rolls eyes What do I know. So right now if I booked 400 but figure it will be closer to 600 when I can book it. Worth it either way. Then when I get closer to the time I need to figure out way from airport to house. LOL I guess there are probably services that do that. So I will need to check into that. I am going to try to get a night flight so I arrive early morning too. Fight shouldn't take that long tho. Maybe 4-5hours with lay over.

Yup. Thats what I figure second job will be good for. If I get a job there with 18hours of work and bring home about $140 a week that won't be to bad. It will take no time at all along with my current working.

Well here's to hoping it won't become that much more expensive. Seeing as this is a very special case, maybe you can get family or friends to lend you some money so you can book earlier? Or start a little fundraiser? Idk if these are any good ideas... I gotta go to bed now though, so have a nice evening and a good interview tomorrow c:

I have relatives that do so much flying. I am hoping that they can help with all that. I have only flown once. TBH I am terrified of flying. But like getting extra job, I am willing to get on a plane too.
