I have a massive question - judges do want to see growth and bonding and relationships (this includes friendships strengthening) and personalized story (not just individual but as a whole team, not just staying within the parameters of the challenge) happening within the RP so that there's something more than just a challenge to read, right? They don't want to see us just do the challenge? I can't see that leading to something very exciting or interesting. All I could see is them saying, "Oh, they did the challenge. Good." but all the while they're wishing for something more than just seeing the challenge done. I thought the whole purpose of the RP was not only to complete each challenge but to also have relationships grow and flourish within the RP and have a story within a story, if you will?

My understanding is that the challenge is the framework for each section. While extras are nice, it's what happens during the challenge that's most important. So you could write five paragraphs of recovery after we get back to the Goose, but what you do during the fight is what matters most, as a chapter-relevant example. But someone proclaiming their love when someone almost dies, /that/ would count more, because it's during the relevant events.

Where can I find a description of Vibrissa? Is she a feline or a fairy? Edit: I know she is the feline fairy queen. Is she a larger version of cat with wings or a Fairie the felines made their queen???

Yes and no on this one. Just putting in "extra stuff" for the sake of doing "more" isn't going to do it either. What the judges look for is the seven points that have been posted over and over now. Yes, in this case, it WOULD be the battle challenge. Now, if within that context, something extra happening MIGHT be something that would strike them, and it might not. However, it would have to be something that would naturally occur in context, not something that was contrived.

Wolf, I keep thinking you are looking for (and attempting to demand) a "magic formula" to give you the score you want. In truth, there is NO magic formula! The whole idea is for your team to do their best each time and see what strikes a chord.

Shylarah had the right idea about context and how to deal with the assigned scenario as you see fit. There are always multiple ways to handle things. There is an unofficial word applied to K-dramas (and a lot else,) that describes what forcing situations can do and makes us hit the "off button" pretty fast. It's "makjang," which means plot devices involving extreme, absurd, or outrageous instances provided solely to "hook" the viewers and inserted for that exact purpose.

Considering our judges, don't go "makjang." It's not going to work.

Vibrissa was literally "born in my head" because of this completely charming creature created by , so that is exactly what she looks like, and yes, she is a tiny cat that is queen of the whole feline realm. There is now a whole group of "Eye of the" cats that are WS exclusives. They are all cats, every one, even the steamwork constructs.

Vibrissa is very special to me, since she is based off of a CW that is based on my favorite cat I had as a teen. Her name was Delerium and she was amazing. I think of her often and miss her very much. Thank you for imortallizing her :)

To be fair, I had it for lunch like....about 12 hours ago haha. And I did have rice with it because rolling your chicken in rice is the best way. However, I was hungry for quite awhile before I actually made dinner tonight, so Panda definitely doesn't seem to stick with you haha.

thanks . That was how I remembered her as well. Just got thrown off a bit by some of your earlier rp with Vibrissa where you had posted a picture of a young elf princess underneath. While waiting on your answer I went back to that post and saw that it was a picture of the Seelie princess not Vibrissa. I blame it on me having a senior moment and not remembering her name from our first adventure.

Eilwyn is the Faerie Princess, but she's the baby of the family so her older brothers have the claim to the throne.
