back before you were staff, before the most recent DDOS attack, the admin mass add page was also able to update item info in the same way as mass add. It would have been perfect for this. Anyway you can cobble that together? :D

(forums are back up!): I'm a little confused on what you're saying (mass add should update collections, not item info), but I agree it'd be nice to paste an existing item and have the script update the item -- right now, the script discards existing items and only adds new items.

Let's break it down :p admin mass add would also update any existing items that had updates to rarity, description or any of the other things it would normally add for a new item.

: While I've got you on auto-updating existing items, there are a ton of items (mostly earlier item numbers) that have odd characters in their descriptions, like [item2=Green Marauder Jabot]. Right now, SubetaLodge displays the description of the item the way it was probably intended. Do you want their descriptions to match exactly in cases like these?

A ton? They were supposed to have been done as they appear on subeta. ugh. about the time we fix them (unfix them?) CHANGE THEM TO MATCH they will get around to fixing them on here. But still..... they should match.

High priority (needs to be done this week):

• Stop the cron script that updates items before it rolls over and restarts at the beginning. I have an idea for getting it to update more efficiently than it does, which means we should be able to go through the entire database weekly without pinging SubetaLodge more often.

Medium priority (needs to be done soonish):

• Update SML (I sent an email about this to your subetalodge.org email this morning).
• Let the admin mass-add script also do mass update.

Lower priority:

• Minion mass-add (and fix the glitch with book mass-add).
• Add to wishlist (this might get done fairly soon, because I think it'll be an easy fix)
• Achievement item tracking.

I also feel like there is something else that should be on that list but I can't for the life of me remember what it is right now. I have never been a list maker and as I am getting UP IN YEARS I can see that may need to change.

why darnit? Not a big deal, I just wanted to make sure I understood what you were saying. Making that run even faster would be awesome but if it doesn't happen don't kick yourself! edit: 'Add to wishlist' requires that the user be logged into Subeta from the same browser (i.e. in another tab or window), but should otherwise work.

Hey! I was away most of the day (it shows that I'm online because of the a-refreshing snowballs) because we found an apartment finally and we are shopping to buy many things to fill the apartment.. it's totally empty..
