Well the easy part first...I agree no compensation, I think Osterizer is right on that. If you do this its to help our users. Not to clean up after Subeta's errors.

I sort of agree with on the idea of keeping it quiet so we don't get tarred with the feathers Subeta deserves. On the other hand, if we're dealing with an issue of potential user privacy violation, I would not want to 'hide' that and make it look like we're covering up an indiscretion. Since I don't know exactly what data you're looking at here, I can't say more specifically.

If, as I suspect this involves sending wardrobe tracking info from users' wardrobe checklists, I'm a little uncertain as to whether or not we should do this. As a SubetaLodge user, my own habits are not always consistent. I don't always keep my checklists updated. Sometimes I move items out of the wardrobe, but they are still listed as being in the wardrobe checklist, for example. Or I buy stuff, but don't update for a few weeks or months. Sometimes I keep my smaller lists up-to-date, but leave big things like the wardrobe to lag behind. Other times I will use my wardrobe as a "reverse wishlist" - I've sometimes checked things off my wardrobe checklist as something I "have" because I know I'll never get it and just want to make my list of needed items smaller.

Before sending data I would like a lot more reassure about how they plan on using this data. Will it simply be a part of confirmations? If something is not checked off in my wardrobe checklist will that "confirm" that I didn't own the item - even though the list could be months out of date? Will some of the data include the last time the checklist was updated/changed?

Part of me wants to ask our users if they want us to send the info. If they think it will make it easier to figure out what's missing, or if they feel it would used "against" them.

2. The very first response to Keith was that I don't even keep my own checklists up to date so nothing is gospel. However, I did not think of all the ways that you use it! I am going to interject it now before O even has a chance to cull the info.

I'm with - it would depend entirely on what data they're wanting and how they intend to use it. I try to keep my lists pretty accurate, but as a result of this, I've been moving things that were checked in my wardrobe and that I know I had into a separate list of items that are now missing, so if they're using this as any kind of check and balance, it's going to be inaccurate for anyone who's been updating their lists or rearranging them etc. Plus, like Lypsyl says - lots of folks aren't always keeping the list super accurate.

Also I definitely think that this has the potential to backfire on SL if something goes wrong or the data is used to somehow exclude folks who are missing sP items and they find out we provided their lists to staff. I'm not saying that we shouldn't, it just really depends on what/how they plan to utilize the information.

Yeah, there are all sorts of ways to use those checklists. It all depends on your final goals. Also I do have 2 SubetaLodge accounts and use the lists differently in each account. How many others have two accounts? Because they forgot they ever had one, or forgot their password, or other reasons.

Not to mention not everyone uses the same username or has their subeta username on it at all...

I'm further splitting my lists too at the moment because I have stuff sorted away in drawers and that makes it difficult to compare my list to the site's organize page, so I have to move all my subeautique stuff into it's own list and take it off my wardrobe list ((because I'd recently finally got around to putting all the tique stuff in it's drawer and I don't want to redo that hahaha))

: Retrieving checklists now. I'll send them Wardrobe and Custom checklists. Don't have a great way of telling automatically which custom checklists are wardrobe items and which ones aren't (lots of them are CWs), so I'l let them figure out how to handle the custom collections.

oh wow. that letter spacing really messed me up! I was about to contact you to tell you the site was broken. duh. The newly wearable page was the first page I saw with it and that is really a mess... checklist pages are ineresting, lol. the toggle boxes are find, it is the rest that is so off. nice job.

: Yeah, some of the stuff is irritating. I'm sure we'll get some feedback on that. If anything's really broken to the point of being unusable, let me know. (The navigation bar at the top of the page was, so I had to change the spacing back on that. Gathering of 10 or less, I suppose. ;) )

Ooooh boy SL is interesting with the spacing haha. I know you showed us the preview but my brain really didn't sort out exactly what it would be like haha.
