Like you and - I too already dumped hundreds of items on her and I'm....irked. But I commented on the news post about them last night because there still weren't copies of either up and I knew that was wrong.

it sucks so much! I don't care about the hat - happened to get one while working on getting the sweater - but really wanted that sweater. Oh well, it cost me nothing but a bit of time. In my hoard, I have a bunch of food I will never eat, never sell, and might on rare occasions use one two for questing. So really, no skin off my back, but its still annoying.

Yeah, I dragged all the cheap stuff out of my shop and galleries and vault. I still have more, but it's easier to just buy them since someone kindly priced them at 1m each haha.

Time for my yearly reminder about editing items that melody gives out. The proper format is:

Luminaire 2019: Melody's Cottage (Check our admin shoutbox if you want to just copy/[paste this)

If it doesn't have the "Melody's Cottage" portion then it will show up on the newest items page and we will be in hot water for spoiling the fun for everyone.

It would be great if someone could commit to be here at midnight every day to add the items but since that is probably not feasible PLEASE for the love of Allah make sure to check and see if they need added when you get online! There were some issues last year where people just assumed someone else had already done it so it was being done late in the day. That is not how we operate, remember? (: We love to get things added ASAP so people can check them off their list.

As every year I will be taking care of the page with all the cottage items, with Lypsyl as my backup. Well, I think. I didn't ask her :X Lypsyl, would you please back me up?

Don't forget! If we (hopefully) get new ornaments, there are overlays that need to be added! To add the overlay you do it just l ike doing a manual overlay for a wearable item. If you need a refresher on how to do it check HERE

If you get stuck on something or have any questions just ask. Lypsyl and Osterizer pretty much have all the answers!

I've moved the Melody's Cottage page out of the CMS and into the database so that it'll be much (MUCH!) easier to update. The rows will adjust automatically regardless of the number of items she gives out (so no more messing with tables!)

I'll post more information in a couple of hours. (I've got a stupid stupid family thing I have to do first.)

yeah, I've also been staying away a lot. I've been trying to quest, but it gets so frustrating. Even those times when the lag is not too bad and feels almost like I can quest, I start getting hit with site errors.

Being here at midnight is possible for me, but not good. What ends up happening is that I just stay here, don't go eat, wait for site midnight, do what I have to, then eat my dinner at 11pm my time. I do it occasionally when I must, LOL even accidentally when I'm involved in an event or something, but its not something I want to do regularly. If I do change my schedule, get off the computer for dinner, then go back on, I usually end up staying up all night and going to bed at 6 or 7am. Neither option is something I want to plan on for a month.

No problem with the Melody page backup and no problem with the changes to the newly wearable page. LOL I've been making section changes as needed each month anyway. Nothing ever came up often enough that I considered asking for the template page to be changed.
