The only way I've been able to get the customs added because they're not in the ID Building is account search. And I'm lvl 2 and have them edited and the burned cookie added

I have just a second or two before I have to get up and get ready for work... Faerie is MIA and has been for about a month now. SO, someone (or ones) is going to have to take over the CWs for a while. I can do it on like Saturday's if need be. Not sure I can get them all caught up (Laurie already did that once and I didn't realize it had fallen behind again).

We also need to think longterm I guess, just inc ase. I have been thinking about hiring another item admin anyway but the problem comes in when I try and figure out how I would train them.

So, brainstorm with me please!

I've been worried about Faerie for a while now, but she's never been very communicative, so I don't know what to think.

I volunteer to train a new item admin. I'll set up some documents, run them by you to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. They should all be ready by the time you finish the hiring process. I can arrange to be here pretty much anytime, even very late at night if its set up in advance, so if you're looking for someone in a vastly different time zone its not a problem.

The CWs are a different matter. I will work on them if I have to, but I've hated them since the planning stages and really don't want anything to do with them.

So, the kindhearted, easily (in this case) persuaded has offered (read: let me twist his arm) to take over the CWs for a while at least. If you would be willing to teach him and you were both able to get them up to date in that process then it would not be so overwhelming for anyone.

How it's done

You find a gap in item id numbers then do an account search. From there it's adding them old school and editing. Ctrl U, ctrl A, ctrl C, paste that into the add items section of SubetaLodge and edit.

They have their own item type and are always R200.

Thats all there is to it. Editing them is time consuming with the changes but easy to add. We're quite a ways behind, as in I'm working on a group of 52 that are missing from page 10 but if y'all want to take over whats currently missing I'll keep working on getting us caught up from page 10.

I have no idea what you mean when you say from page 10. I think it may just be too early in the morning. :P

I went to the item directory and have been working backwards. Don't know how many more I'll do this morning. I need to get dressed and go shopping, but I don't wanna! :P

Ugh...I worked evenings at one point and it was horrible. There are some advantages, but they don't really make up for how it screws up everything else. I'm not much of a social animal, but working evenings destroyed what little social contacts I did have and made me feel lonely for the first time in a long time. There are probably ways to adjust and change your lifestyle so it can work long term. I only did it for about 6 months, and knew it was temporary so I didn't even try to work out ways of living with it, just endured.

That sounds like a killer, having to find them, then enter them singly. It wouldn't sound so bad if you could at least add a group of them at a time.

Thats where Im at but I am really sick so most likely aren't making sense. My numbers are way off and I lose the ability to make sense. example the set I intend to work on but havent because I just can't stay awake today

You're doing exactly what needs done, working backwards. Me, finding the last one done and working forward = we'll get them all soon. Just not today. Im about to get sick aagain.

I guess it means I can stay up later again. BUt I bet it is going to take me some time to get used to sleeping past 8 am again too. I mean, I would certainly accomplish more at home if I kept getting up earlier. But that probably won't happen!
