Did you guys look at the training page lypsyl made? It is linked in the poll topic.

I did my first training session tonight and a couple of things came up.

First Marlboro earned a He suggested looking in the wardrobe for missing CWs...the little genius floored me, I had that horrible headdesk moment! Why didn't we think of that?

The other was a question about prices for CW. When I looked them up the price was listed as 0 sp and I've been using that. But should it not be 0 CSC?

It probably "should" be csc but my feeling is this; they will never have an actual official price and nobody wants to go back thought thousands of items and make changes. I say leave it as it is

Just to let you guys know in case you are planning on adding CWs, I've assigned the trainees some CWs to add for practice: Laced Black Tea Fabric through to Fabric of the Sweet Invitation

You can try, but I don't think it will work. I just checked the source code on the wardrobe page and it doesn't look like what we normally get. I didn't try to add it to SubetaLodge though.

But its still way better than what we were doing before, especially when we can just click the buy button to search and either WL or get source code right from there.

It'll save a ton of search time now that we're caught up with adding them! Man I wish I'd thought of it before the ball.

I'm going to give it a shot, see what happens. I was checking it out too and I doubt it'll work but I gotta try xD

edits Ok, seriously, that did not go not nearly as smoothly as I'd hoped.

View source via wardrobe obviously does not work, view source there is about 5 lines of code I've never seen before. I picked Galaxy Rose Ring, the next item needing to be added. Clicking "buy item" opened the shop search but for some reason view source didn't add it to SubetaLodge. Account search is still the only way I can get it to work.

Just to cover all bases I'll try adding another in FF but I think account search is going to be the only way to add them. But hey, finding them just got a lot easier. (Nope, that didnt work either.)

Just want to let you know that Eric's laptop died :(

I just want to review a few things with you and discuss the main focus of your positions.

First and foremost, no one is ever off duty if they are online! I know that may sound harsh but seriously if we are all counting on the other person to take care of stuff then stuff will never get done. (yes, "stuff" is a very technical term!). This is never more important than it is during events! You should never have to ask if help is needed, just know that it is your job to jump in and help until it is completed or you have to leave. This is definitely the most un-fun part of the job but still, necessary.

Please remember that you now represent SubetaLodge. In here or on our staff forums you can vent about anyone and anything you like. Out there in the subeta world you represent SubetaLodge. It is not okay to be rude or snippy, even when you really feel like it. I know you are all nice people and don't really need to be told this but I am saying it just the same! Also, I am old and so not like subeta staff that feel it is okay to yell and cuss at members (this happens much less tn it used to, thank goodness!). I am not saying it is not alright to correct a person who has said something incorrect or that you disagree with, just please do it politely.

As for the special focus for each of you, and I have discussed it and feel like for at least the time being, these are the best things.

No problem, as someone who was bullied on the forum before and at the irc room, I'm trying to be as nice as possible.. I know how it can make you feel bad when you get a bad message from soneone..

I seriously doubt y'all will have any type of trouble but if you do, don't let some troll draw you into an argument. If someone comes at you here (Subeta), come in here to our Take 2 topic or something - it's the safest place to express yourself. Ping one of us if you need someone to vent to. We're a team and we will always have your back. Out there, in the public domain, bite your tongue (in my case) respond politely then ignore 'em.

If they come at you at SubetaLodge, let da'boss lady know. Georgie will handle it if she thinks action is necessary, and she has a way of making them backtrack right quick.

I've been item admin since the beginning (seriously like I think I started adding items from page 20 in the IDB) and it's only happened to me once. It was just an unlucky break that this person cant seem to let it go because she thrives in a world drenched in drama. I had no clue who she was (different username) when she mailed me bitching about a lair ping a few weeks back and next thing I knew went into a hissy fit about Georgie contacting her when it was me she was talking to about how my giveaway should be run a few years ago! I knew who it was then, lol, and double checked her profile to be sure before I told Kathy about it (she's co-owner of the lair) and laughed it off. (Now you know why I didn't tell her to leave Kathy, but believe me girlfriend I reeeeeeeally wanted to)
