Nope, no eyeballs...I thought it was those very pale eyes that I can't really see at the best of times, but are impossible with my current vision.

I amn glad you will be seeing much better a month from now. It is just too bad you have to have this right at christmas time.

Not a big deal. I don't usually drive anyway and most of the extra activity is visiting with people which doesn't require great vision. The surgery itself isn't painful, nor is the recovery time. The biggest problem will be showering! If I remember right I'm not allowed to shower at all for the first 3 days, then after that I have to be super careful not to get my eye wet - which makes washing hair a nightmare.

Admittedly, there are times I wish I didn't have to shower and could just go to bed, sit in front of the computer, whatever I want to do. But not being able to do so? THat is another story!

I seem to remember you had some headaches last time. Hopefully that will be less so this go round. :/

LOL yeah shower vacations can be fun, but not when its not your choice!

Ugh headaches! Last time I was dealing with headaches both before and after the surgery. I'm hoping it won't be as bad this time as I'm getting the surgery before the cataract is as bad. I haven't been experiencing headaches yet and only a bit of nausea. The headaches are from the difference in eye strength and this surgery will make my eyes much closer to the same strength. I'll have to just wait and see how it goes.

The surgery went well :). I'm experiencing a bit of swelling, which I didn't with my right eye. I just hope it won't increase recovery time.

I'm covering my left lens so I can look out my right eye, but everything looks strange this way.

Glad to hear it went well, other than the swelling. Hope that is gone by morning. That would be a very strange way to see the world. Just take it easy and get plenty of rest! Let chappy take care of you and pamper you.

Thanks. Much of my symptoms are gone or improved today! I don't need a lot of TLC personally, since I'm not experiencing any pain or other difficulties. But he is proving to be very, very helpful in my dailies here! He's doing the cursed quests (for retired luminaire stuff) and wiz quests every day. And he's collecting ornament boxes for me (well not today).

Of course you need TLC! Maybe not specifically for this but just in general. :D I am so glad your symptoms are rapidly improving and your first check in with the doc went well.

Chappy, thank you for taking good care of our girl and for doing her dailies and whatnot, too. I am glad she has you to treat her so well.

Today is my last day of work for the week. While I know m y paycheck is going to suck I am REALLY glad to be having a few days off!

weapon list sorting is fixed. Jon says the pet add might be a result of the changes subeta made from the ddos attack.

Basically, remember when you logged into Subeta after Keith announced the new security? You were redirected to a page where they can check your browser. This is blocking some of our behind-the-scenes features from viewing subeta pages to grab info from. Unfortunately there is probably not an easy way to get around this new security, by that I mean really hard. It wouldn't be very good security if we could bypass it!
