Ah gosh x_x Sorry for the unresponsiveness!! A lot's going on until the end of this month, but I'll try to keep up as much as I can. Im just asking because I have, its happened to me before, I dont think its linked to WS3 I think its a user plot, there will be a thread on the forums called 'out of nowhere a young man runs into you' if you post on that thread they assume you're joining it on the plot, its quite fun Ive done one, but It might be distracting atm.

Im having a problem with the whole Vagabond/Polymath persona,I imagine it would be hard to be both, the former is a nomad, shiftless,carefree,worthless,idle, disreputable drifter, whereas the latter is a well educated, multi skilled, thinker, intellectual type, it is proving difficult to create a persona for such a person, am I worrying too much? Firefly is on Sky TV! this is too weird. on the Syfy channel episode one is in a couple of days,ill be watching it.

In the meantime folks I worked out two HAs and I am not sure which I will use (and likely tinker with between now and then on) as of yet. Private Outfit Private Outfit More traditional bard type versus a more steampunky one. Well, my interpretation thereof. I like the face more of the second but I dig the clashing colors of the other XD Irregardless the ascot's gotta stay, for whatever reason.

Here's the bio: Name: Phineas Uthar Killigan the thirty-second Age: closer to 40 than not Species: Human Physical attributes: About 6 footish, about 200 lbsish, strong build, dark brown skin, mid-length black hair, black eyes, ever-ready grin. Occupation:Bard/Companion/general ne'er-do-well Instrument: Electric Lute, or Lyre depending Back story: From a wealthier background, used to the finer things in life growing up, the family fell on hard times somewhere in his middle teens forcing them to rely upon actual skills to get by. Unfortunately, Phineas didn't really have any skills except for the horrific music lessons his mother forced on him for years. Lacking any will to do any physical labor, he took to the road, playing in dives, living hand to mouth and learning all he could from actual accomplished musicians and a little from less honest citizens as well. Being reasonably bright, he eventually honed his craft to enough of a degree to afford some fresh duds and play in slightly less dive type dives. He claims his musical style is "Jazzy country blues with a ska beat and classical roots." This of course is highly suspect. He is companioned by a small, scruffy cat named Katja who comes and goes as she pleases. For the time being, her direction just happens to coincide with his own.

Demeanor: Generally cheerful, affable, the kind to get along with most people except those who refuse to be gotten along with. Not precisely honest, not exactly hard working, probably shouldn't entirely be trusted with personal items of any value. Charming and smooth talking, prefers to beg, plead, cajole or convince versus having a physical confrontation, but if push came to shove he's got a couple knives here and there and knows how to use 'em.

Equipment: Probably his lute or lyre, the aforementioned daggers and a little lock picking kit, since he's supposed to be able to do that. Anything else I'll hold off on until we get our actual adventure packs ^.^

Likes: Music, good times, a fine wine and sparkley things of readily exchangeable value Dislikes: Nylon strings, impolite manners, being the subject of an inquiry into the disappearance of sparkley things of readily exchangeable value.

I couldn't even keep water down until mid-evening. Today should be better, as long as I can have some coffee soon. (Assuming the headache I have is a result of no caffeine yesterday) Still rather dehydrated as well, so I'm working on a sports drink while the coffeemaker does its thing.
