Raggydoll has accepted our offer and will be joining us here soon. She's interested in the Vagabond role, but we'll talk about that later. :)

Maths aren't my strong point, I dont know what is really as far as rp goes, Ive never seen Mcgyver I just read that he's an agent and keeps a swiss army knife for all emergencies.Im generous and kind, but say the wrong thing sometimes and then worry for a month. Don't be scared lol, you can't mess this up, it is just a fun game is all :* A couple of us are role players (or in my case, a total hack) so if you need any pointers feel free to ask anything! Also, Mcgyver could fix anything with what was laying about lol. It was all "This week on Mcgyver, he is stuck in a 1950's bomb shelter with a ticking explosive and all he has is a can opener, two hotdogs and a box of toothpicks" and he'd make this clever thing and not only escape but disarm the bomb too. It was such a weird ass show, but fun

as far as roles go we are still fine tuning everything but we have updated the opening post to include what each role means our mascot is dancing in the second post

I'm flexable though so if you would prefer to take warrior I'm totally fine with it.

I'd rather not have more people, I also didn't join another group because that would have brought the number up to 7 which just seemed like a lot. I'm sure one of the smaller teams will be glad to have her onboard.

That is epic, Sue XD I hope you enjoy, it is so totally 80s XD And Jess of course! If I can help I surely will, but it ain't hard. Imma try to mock up a rough character sketch or two to show ya how I used to do it when I played. Not how everyone does it, but it might spark some ideas for you. Plus there are LOTS of online pre-forms you can work with too for filling in a character. Some are ridiculously long, some others very very short XD I can post a link to a couple if ya want me to as well :D

Here is a more streamlined version http://claycowboys.deviantart.com/art/Very-Very-Basic-Character-Sheet-340098566 This one is a tad closer to how I used to do it, though it is not detailed /enough/ for me but might be a better spring board for someone who's never done it before.

There are LOTs more just googling "character sheet" but these are two good examples of what is out there. I haven't used one in years but I will try to comb through to find a nice middle ground one, that is detailed, but not tooooo heavy handed.

Mostly the trick I found is to make them a breathing, feeling, reacting human (or elf, or immortal half weasel, whatever) so that they're authentic. Not believable lol, certain things defy belief, but authentic to the character. Like if you go for someone who is garrulous and amiable, they would probably not suddenly react with a long winded emo speech about a troubled childhood, not with a LOT of lead in XD stuff like that.
