Alrighty. I'm thinking we should take a couple of simple elements at a time, then build to the more detailed ones. For example:

Species: Human Age: 25 Gender: Female

Ive looked at the earlier ws adventures and theres a lot of animals, but this one sounds like it might be different, also a human would be simpler I imagine? Species: Human [b] Gender:female [b] Age:39[forever] On page 17 on the WS3 thread, Gr does say that she will be putting up more info for characters,but we can still make a rough type, and adapt it to be any kind of creature when we can?

working on my character sheet + design. thinking I'll be Dark elf since my HA is usually dark.

do you think a woodland animal would be appropriate from what we know so far? I have a yearning to be 'Albert the gentleman badger', old in years and still reasonably sound of mind. Wind in the Willows keeps coming to mind. does any of that gel with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polymath or am I going off on my own weird path? I havent got a clue what Im expected to do, so its hard to make a character when I've never done it before lol.

I think it'll be rather charming, races are open so you can be anything human, elf, vampire, alien...etc

my one question is can you create an HA that looks like a badger? you don't have to own the items ofcourse but it will be required to submit an HA of your character when you register them officially with their bios

probably not lol. I think Im probably best keeping it as simple as possible for my first 'character' so a human female would be best, Renaissance woman type.thank you Im glad of all input.

companions are optional. infact in WS 1 there were times when you actually acquired a companion but only if you started out without.

Companions may or may not play a role in the adventure itself :) They have in the first one, not sure about the second, but I remember in the first there were these cats stuck in this glass box thing and you had to figure out how to wrangle the key while keeping them calm and such what. I always bring my kitteh lol, not as much potential help as a flying critter or a fingered critter but....:cuddles: Also, raggydoll, I REALLY like the badger lol. I know that would be neigh impossible to dress as but darn it sounds like so much fun XD I have a badger claw amulet critter if you wanted one for at least your companion ^.^

thanks searchname, ive got a couple of badger items I could use,the companion one, and the over the shoulder ghostly one, so I could be human with a badger companion who changes image depending on what/where I am? I think the whole syfy slant is throwing me off a bit, I read about firefly last night. I really dont know how greenrowan does it all she must be a superbrain or something!

I read Witchys bio earlier, I think Im going to wait until some others have put their vagabond bio's up, before fine tuning mine. I made a character, but nothing like Jessica's, shes beautiful and exotic, this is a steep learning curve!I read chapter 12 of last years WS2. Is the vagabond role new this year?
