I've been downloading plushie patterns today - I might see if I can dig out some fleece pieces and try making one up tomorrow maybe - just for something to try making that doesn't need to be 110% accurate on sizing

I was never able to get a pic of my budgies or hamsters that was not blurry. Its great that you got some nice ones of Sid to remember him by. :hugs:

I didn't have a digital camera when I had my hamster, so I borrowed Grandad's one - the pics were a bit too blurry to be able to use much. But I definitely have a lot more pics (mostly in focus too) of Sid.... he enjoyed posing for the camera ;)

For me it was before we had digital cameras.. so were no way of knowing how the pics turned out until you got them back from the store. xD Was at least more exciting that way I guess? :P

My non digital camera didn't have a zoom, so I couldn't get close enough to get a clear photo anyway ;) It definitely still seems weird to be able to take a load of pics and not have to pay for them all to be developed ;)

mostly bears as they're easier to make :P I couldn't find the fleece pieces, so I might make one from cotton instead ;)

you could do a print in the cotton too xD it'll look spiffy

I've only ever tried making two bears from cotton so far, and the seams ended up looking lumpy (guessing that's because the cotton wasn't stretchy), but hopefully it'll work to at least test the pattern out ;) It's one of those I've found the pieces for, but the instructions aren't in English so I'll have to make it up as I go along :P

At least the non stretch means the pieces will stay the same size once I've cut them - the reindeer I made for K started stretching out in weird places o.O ;) and so he should be :P ....and I didn't just say that because RP-Paddy is scared of him

That's the advantage of the kid not being a year old at that point - he had no idea it wasn't quite the shape I was aiming for :P Even if he hasn't got any visible lightning right now - she's still scared of him ;)
