Ah, I forgot - all the undergraduates started yesterday :P But definitely make a schedule, that always helps! I had a long weekend because of the holiday on Monday, and other than studying an obnoxious amount, my goal was to get myself situated, because the program just started us off sprinting and I couldn't catch up!

But, I am glad I was able to work everything out this weekend, so I definitely feel a little less stressed.

wow, I can't believe how many people you've met. I'm especially jealous of the Torchwood actors, Mads and Nathan. I've met a couple of people at cons in Philadelphia, but it was a while ago now (Claire Kramer (Glory from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Allison Mack (Chloe from Smallville), Brian O'Halloran (Dante from Clerks and in other Kevin Smith films) and I once got to talk to Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam in the crowd at a concert). I'd really love to meet more of the Buffy and Firefly actors, but haven't been to a con in a while.

My closest encounter with a celebrity was in a NKOTB (New Kids on the Block) concert about two years ago, where he and the rest of the band came down from stage and sang 'Tonight' near the fans. Donnie Wahlberg (hot sexy pappa) came over to my section in the building, and even though many fans were in front of me, I managed to pass my hand through them, and he actually squeezed it. I was so in shock LOL

And I am totally not into celebrities. I used to have a friend who always had to try and meet bands after their concerts and actors and all sort of people. I found it incredibly embarrassing. Like let them people live their private lives when they are finished with the job for the day. But then again I never adore the artists, but the piece of art they create. Like I love cupcakes without being interested in the baker. I've never been "the fangirl".

Yup!! I have a picture with Nathan! You'd be really jealous of my GF though, she's met Nathan a bunch of times because her drama teacher is good friends with him and he used to visit her class once in a while (He's from Edmonton, where we live). Also I only briefly met Noah, it was again my GF who got a pic with and talked to him a bit! She's on Subeta too if you want me to ping her so you can grill her on the experience? hehe

To be fair, 95% of the famous people I've met have been at Comic Con-type events, where that is the whole point (to meet and get pics with your favourite stars). The only musicians I met before or after a concert was Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys (about 8 years ago now, who really only signed an autograph and shook my hand, we didn't get to talk) and Lights, just last fall, after she performed at my Uni. She was amazing and I managed to meet her just as she was leaving, but she was totally cool with it. She's been a genuine role model for me so that was a huge deal meeting her!

You studied Biology in college/uni? What did you focus on?/what are you doing now? :)

I have MANY stories about the Torchwood people. We actually got to know Barrowman a bit, and we really got to know Burn Gorman in Sept. I had told him about a few of my struggles in the past year or two (I've had major anxiety and stress-related issues, and I mentioned that he was only of the celebs/shows/whatever that made me happy during that time) and he was genuinely concerned and pretty much knew me and the GF by name by the end of the con! He certainly recognized every time we went to see him and even came out from behind the table when he saw us approaching once and gave us huge hugs and asked how I was feeling. He is seriously the sweetest man I have ever met.

Also OMG I AM SO JEALOUS YOU MET ALLISON MACK. She is one of my absolute favourite actresses of all time and I practically idolized Chloe as I watched Smallville over the years (the characters were the same age as me!). I have wanted to meet her for years!! You must tell me what she is like!

Is there any trick to catching a BHH restock? I've never ever seen anything there, no matter when or how persistently I try x_x

Well, I have the page bookmarked and go there quite often, until I'm banned. That has helped me quite a lot when it comes to grabbing items.

I've got a very weird lucky streak lately, 3 items in less than a week. I am super impressed of myself tbh. I want everyone posting there!! Like.... I want to know when someone snags the haunted moonstone because I want/need it haha

@ Alewiina Oh, don't get me wrong, I totally don't mind people meeting and greeting celebrities at meet and greets, that's part of their job. I just don't like the idea of lurking for them at shady corners when it's their free time xD I actually went to a couple of meet and greets when I was a teen. Mostly with said friend. Got a photo signed by Tom Felton and a CD by the band HIM and later on at festivals I went to get some stuff signed by other bands. But I don't really get much out of it myself. So I haven't done it for a while. I prefer meeting and getting to know people that could become my friends.

I used to study Biology at university, but when my dad died I had to give up on uni. I started training at an academy to become.... well, if I'd translated my profession one to one into English I'd be called a Bio Tech Assistant. But I think most job offers in the English language would call my profession a Research Technician. It's basically lab work of any kind. But I am on job search right now. I just graduated last year, that's why I don't mind the field of my first job. I did enjoy quite a few of things, I like microbiology and molecular biology. I do love neurology, but I am not to keen on a job that involves the death of lots of mice...
