[U]Happy New Year, 2016![/U] From all of Unique's staff and administrators, we hope 2016 brings everyone blessings and happiness.

As you know, in Unique we strive to improve, and this year that is starting is no different. Mieke and Silvy are looking for ways to improve Unique, make it a better and more active place, while keeping the essence of the Hive we love and call home away from home.

In order to do so, some changes need to happen, which include but are not limited to:

• Looking into the possibility of bringing the Honeycomb back
• And a few others we'll be announcing in due time.

[U]Activity update[/U] After a lot of feedback, starting 2016 we're bringing the post count back! We've taken into consideration all your comments, both positive and negative, so we have decided to lowered it to FIVE posts a month. If you have trouble meeting this because you're at a super busy part in your uni curriculum, you're on vacation, or you've got a lot going on, please post or PM Silvy or Mieke, and we'll definitely keep that in mind! We don't want to lose members who are too busy, but we do want to make sure everyone here wants to be part of our family, and we also want to feel our forums alive with activity.

[U]DIY Project[/U] Even though the DIY Project has been a fun idea, the participation for this activity has always been pretty low, so for the time being, it has come to an end..If you would like to revisit it at a later date, please let Mieke know! If anyone has any ideas for fun activities, really, feel free to make suggestions, we'd love them!

[U]Pollination Day is coming![/U] The first 2016 Pollination will be happening from January 14 to 17! If it's sP you're interested in donating, please bid on any of her junk trades.

Luckily I had two weeks off for my vacation from school :) Although they were filled with a lot of traveling to visit my family and my boyfriends family!

I am hoping once I start my clinicals on Wednesday, the amount of studying I need to do will decrease a little bit LOL it's quite exhausting!!!

We spent most of the afternoon/evening at my sister's house and the kids enjoyed playing outside in the snow :D

Aha, go to your freezer one of these days when it has extra ice build up in it. Scratch some of it off and voila you have snow! No joke xD

I think there is a place that ships snow too, I should consider this for you. xP

I don't think that counts =P I saw 'snow like' in the city once. Like, it rained like hell and there was just so much hail at the end of the rain and it looked like snow... except that when grabbing and making balls, there were huge pieces of ice instead of nice snowing like shit. I took pictures and played with my boyfriend that time hahaha we looked for the most snowy place and we found it :D haha

I had a great New Year's! Had lunch with my family, then spend all afternoon, night, and morning with Angel and his family. We had dinner, and then Angel, his sister and I went to play Super Mario for Wiil At midnight, we watched fireworks go (though about 90% were fire crackers lol), and some cantoya's balloons were being released as well!

We toasted with (not so tasty) wine, and then we went back into playing Super Mario for Wii, until about 4:30 a.m. LOL :P
