I'd love to see that underwater scene! Sounds magestic and so full of hard work! I don't know about Doctor Who, I've only watched Supernatural and I am not done. I am stuck somewhere around season 8 due to school :P

Haha, right after I said John or Paul, I thought to myself, "she'll probably be a George girl!" I'm a die-hard John girl, but I love Paul too. I wish I could be as pretty as he was. (And I love George. and Ringo. and George Martin. And like everyone) My favorite album is also Rubber Soul, although for a long time it was Revolver, and then probably Magical Mystery Tour.
I'm a Ravenclaw! 💙 (i really hope that emoji actually works, it doesn't show up in the preview)
well, I mean, it's just a title - it's not that big of a deal to me. I don't know exactly why, but my feeling is that once you've got you're doctorate, you've already done your own research, so you're capable of working more on the theory/intellectual side of Psychology? Honestly, I have no idea if I'm right about that.
The Van Gogh cross-stitch sound so cool, which painting is it of? That's cool that you can do that, I don't know if I'd have the patience to do cross-stitch but I love the idea of it.. it's like painting with thread!
I've tried oils and I didn't really like them. They're so unlike the other mediums I like to use, it takes forever to dry, and it's messy even by my standards. I may want to try them again at some point but for now I'm pretty content with my watercolors, acrylics, and pastels.
[so I edited this and it removed the ping-links or whatever.. I'm still getting to know how to use the subeta forums so bare with me! >_<]
have you seen any of the movies? :) I love Help! (well, and Hard Day's Night). They're so silly but so amusing and adorable. Also cool! My GF is Ravenclaw :)
Here, I uploaded a pic of it! Fishy Cross stitch! Also I used to watch Supernatural. I watched loyally up to about season 7 and watched a couple eps of 8 but it was getting convoluted and kinda boring to me, I lost interest. Still adore the actors/character and most of the fandom stuff though! I've also met Misha :)

🦋
Hi there! Without sounding like a creepy stalker person... I live in Davis - about 1.5 hours easy of East Bay! One of my oldest friends just graduated from CCA, and she is like 33.. and I just graduated with my BA at 30. So def never too old, especially in this economy!
I know what you mean, I cam the same way until I get comfortable. And then you cannot shut me up. LMAO
I see.... I am curious because my boyfriend is a psichologyst and he has is professional certificate already but he doesn't have a doctorate. He's only doing a master degree for now and he can definitely be called a psychologist and it's not nice that you can't until you're that high on your studyings :(
It's one of van gogh's sunflowers!! It's super tough because you have to count and tell colors but the stitching is just super easy, patience is what it takes indeed. I suuck so much with watercolors!! I don't know why but they just spread so badly, well, I've only used them on average paper so I am probably trying on the wrong canvas :P
OMG, THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!! YOUR MOM IS TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD! I really do am liking it. So much more detail than what I am used to do! Why would you lost interest on supernatural? I have to agree sometimes it gets not so cool and I am mad they killed Kevin but with this all new heaven order, I have hopes. How did you meet Misha? He's so handsome in the series but for what I've read about him in real life, I am kind of "meh" on the person XD I mean, it conflictuates me because he seems to be a very particular being. Still super hot...

I'm back!
Hi Lu, I'm Greg! Wow, I don't really know what to answer to what you said. All I'm going to say is that you're fantastic and we need more people like you. Would love to see some of your photographs or paintings :D And btw, I'm a Ravenclaw too high fives
Your HA is lovely too :) Can I read about your character somewhere? [edit] THAT CROSS STITCH IS FANTASTIC. Your mom is amazing!
Omg I feel so talentless around you guys XD
I'm like that too! I never stop talking once I'm comfortable. Also, are we talking about people being older going into school? Cause I'm 28 right now and JUST starting my BA in the fall. I will be 34-ish when I graduate!
I will definitely tell her you said that, she'll be thrilled! :D She absolutely loves it and does it because she likes it so much, which is great because she gives away a lot of her projects as gifts hehe. I'll have to show you some of her other pieces that I own sometime soon (I would do it now but I really need to stop finding reasons not to do my homework xD)
I met Misha at a fan convention in Calgary in 2013! Also Mark Sheppard and Jim Beaver! (Jim was in Sept 2014 though)! Misha is such a goofy, fun dude IRL. I know he seems weird but I think he's just quirky haha. Also in 2013 I met 3 of the cast members of Torchwood (the three "main" ones! John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David-Lloyd) (actually have seen/talked to Barrowman twice now) and then met a fourth (Burn Gorman <3) just a couple months ago... Actually I did more than meet a couple of them but that's a different story hehe. Have also met and briefly talked to Karl Urban, Mads Mikkelsen, Nathan Fillion, Noah Wyle, and Grant Imahara (of Mythbusters fame!) Have also said hello and been waved at by Peter Dinklage! :D (sorry I still get excited thinking about all that! I grew up in a small town and never met anyone famous until 2013 and now I've met like a dozen celebs :D) YAY for cons!
Thanks!! Unfortunately no, I don't have anything I've written about her online besides some private RPing, but her name is Ali and she is a student of an arts college in California who goes to the hospital with an infected cut and ends up being diagnosed with a disease that she didn't really realize she had. At least that's mostly what I've written of her. I want to use her in other ideas though :)

🦋
So, you're canadian! :D How fun. Is Mark Sheppard short? Because he looks shorts but he's handsome at the same time. I've never heard of Torchwood. Do famous people like going to Canada? Because, I mean, here's Mexico so I can understand why no one comes over but they all seem to be going everywhere!
Peter Dinklage IS AMAZING! I've never seen Games of Thrones but he (and the blonde girl) totally makes me want to watch it!
I don't know anyone famous. I mean, I went to see Rammstein at a concert but that doesn't really count at all!
Also, you should really do your homework!

That's so sad :( Please let me know if you write more about her. Got me intrigued already!
Guys what do you think of this top for a CW? I might try to get a commission.
AHHH! You've seen Help!! I haven't seen it yet, I remember I tried to rent it as a teenager from an actual brick-and-mortar shop and they required a $500 deposit (?!?) so I got it in my head that it's hard to come by and I'd probably never see it. I need to go look on amazon! I've seen Hard Days Night (I feel bad for anyone in my vicinity when I first say it.. the shrill screams that I emitted during the first 5 minutes.. Beatlemania never died) and of course Yellow Sub!
without sounding like a creepy stalker person either I used to live on 5th and pole line ;) I followed my ex out there when they got accepted to UC Davis.. and then we ended it, so I moved even further east. I LOVED Davis, I was totally ready to make it my home. I'm still only like 45 mins away. HAVE YOU BEEN TO SLIDE PARK?!?! now I'm wondering if I ever served you coffee when I worked at starbucks
huh, that is interesting! i don't mind so much, like I said I mostly just want to do art with people who are hurting ^^ yeah, watercolors don't do so hot on untextured paper. i use thick mixed media paper with little bitty grooves in it for most of my painting. i really want to see some of your cross-stitch sometime!
YEEEA RAVENCLAW! fist bump thank you so much for saying that, I really love the vibe here so far! And I'll see about sharing some of my art ^^
I'm going to go eat dinner, I'll be back on a bit :D
Yup, I'm Canadian! Born and raised in Ontario but I moved to Alberta 6 years ago. Mark Sheppard isn't short, but he's not super tall either. He was just a few inches taller than me so I would guess 5'9" or 5'10"? When I met him he was REALLY jet lagged so he was kinda slouching with tiredness so my pic with him probably isn't horribly accurate... but he's definitely way shorter than Jared or Jensen and even Misha was 5'11 or so. :)
Torchwood is the grittier, more adult version of Doctor Who. If you know Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who (series 1 and 2 of New Who, he was with 9 for several eps and a couple eps with Ten the next season), that's John Barrowman. Think Doctor Who but darker, sexier and more... swear-y. haha.
Also no, famous people don't usually come to Canada a lot, at least not until we started having Comic Con-like events! But it depends where you are in Canada too... for example Supernatural and many CW shows (like Smallville.. LOVE me some Smallville) are shot in Vancouver, BC. And Toronto gets a lot of celeb love too. But not most other places. I've also seen some awesome concerts since moving to Edmonton... there were never any good concerts in my little hometown!
Peter Dinklage seems awesome and you are very right, he and Emilia Clarke (who plays the blonde girl, Danaerys) are the best parts of that show (granted I have only watched Season 1, but they and Sansa and Arya were my faves).
And yeah I know I should do my homework but we're doing Function transformations (math) which is all graphing and so boring ;_; Its really hard to concentrate haha
Really? Thank you! That's awesome! I should try something new with her, then, or re-write her old story. Hmm.
I also have written half of a fantasy novel that I'm kinda stuck on but I love it so far! :)
Not sure about the top, but lace is not really my thing so I may be biased lol

🦋
I think it's beautiful and if I liked it I'd wishlist it because I don't usually buy CW, I have very few of those tbh ^_^' I actually just did a HA that kind of gives the looks but I am waiting for the contest to be over so I can wear it :P
Outfit Not Found
I hope your dream job comes to you as you want it ❤️ it does sound like a very super pretty thing. I study a more unartistic thing so i don't think I'll ever have such freedom and happiness in my job unless I am into a very specific area of design (but that's not something real in my country right now). I'll show my cross-stich, sometime! When I am done with the van gog, my current piece is for my mom and is totally ugly because the colors aren't correct but it was a prepainted thing she bought so I am showing her how much of a bad decission that was hahaha. I want to see your paintings sometime! When you think you're ready to go all the way with the portfolio.
Oh, that's perfect for a man. My boy isn't super tall but totally taller than me and as long as they're taller than me. I mean, I am short so it makes it easier hahaha
So, you'd totally recomment me Games of Thrones? :O It's also pretty new, isn't it? I'd also be more into waiting for a couple of seasons to be out so I can watch them all at once. I hatee waiting for episodes to come out.
Function transformations... rings a bell to me. I've been done with maths for a almost 2 years now, for the rest of my life. BEST FEELING EVER.

High five to you for going back! I transferred from CC at 28! Definitely a lot more people are going back or getting second bach's. What are you studying?
OMG ARE YOU FOR REAL? lolol I live... near Pole Line and Covell! Small freaking world that you lived here! How long ago did you move out East? I moved to Davis 9/2012, just graduated and stayed because I love it here. I am working at a local non-profit for the time bein, but probably will move to the Bay area in a couple of years when I am ready to move up in my career.
Which Starbucks did you work at? I really have only been to the one at the ARC... I am not a huge starbucks fan
Alright, bon appetit!
You should make her a pet cough And really? That's so cool! What is it about? I always wanted to write a novel, and even started writing one, but didn't like it and stopped XD
Gorgeous HA! I think it's safe to change :) Keith locked the thread, and he'll be only looking the outfit you posted, not your current one. Also, I LOVE MATHS. Sadly, they don't love me back.
Thanks for the opinions guys! I don't know if I should get a commission now. I want to at least get back what I spend.
Okay I should get myself offline before I never leave and I wind up staying awake all night and being a loopy crackhead at jury duty tomorrow (or worse sleep through my alarm).
Have a good night, and hopefully I will be not selected so I can be around tomorrow night instead of working from home to compensate for not being in the office all day.
But what about if they give out extra points for actually been wearing it? :O I'll just wait, because, just in case XD I am already prepared for not winning but, who knows? :o
And thank you ❤️
I've never commissioned anything or been interested in that. I don't know... it looks expensive and not like it'll payback much. I'll stick to subeta normal items. Then again, not a fan of CW and rarely ever buy them. Like they have to be super cheap, so good they're worth the 27mil aprox or a gift so I can have them :P

that is too crazy! I lived in Davis from August to November of 2014, then I had to move in with my folks when crap hit the fan. Hardly any time at all, just enough time to fall in love with the town but not enough time to make it a home. :( UC Davis is pretty much the dream school though, it would be awesome to move back on my own terms, as a student! If you don't mind my asking, what sort of non-profit do you work for?
I worked at the one inside the South Davis Safeway. I'm not too big on Starbucks either, but it was a pretty fun job.
aw, thank you :) well, I hope that you can find something that you love within your career path. you never know, I guess. and if not, well, engineering is a pretty fancy field, maybe you can at least make enough money to do what you love in your spare time! or maybe you'll find a group of people who want to make whatever specific area of design you're referring to a reality in your country ^^
I've only seen the one season but I'd recommend Game of Thrones if you are okay with violence/gore and sex and frontal nudity (both sexes). Its also pretty confusing, but shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind keeping track of quite a few different storylines. (I'd reccommend reading the book at some point as well, it helped me a lot) The characters are pretty awesome though and the quality of the cinematics is pretty awesome. Its a very in-depth world, to say the least.
Also lucky you, done with math! Haha. I have this year and then one math course in Uni and I'll be done. :)
Maybe I will make her a pet! haha. My novel is about two sisters living on their own in the mid-late-1800's, in rural France (they weren't born there, though). There's some fantasy elements like faeries and vampires but I haven't decided if I'm leaving the vamps in there- seriously considering taking them out, there's just too many vampire stories around now!
Also I started my novel during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer's Month) a few years back, and went to a lot of live "Write-ins" which are essentially just a bunch of other people doing the challenge and you all work on your novels at the same time for an hour or three, which was pretty motivating :)
Right now I'm upgrading my high school to get all the up-to-date courses I need, and then in September I'll be starting a Bachelor of Science (Biology major)! I hope to go into some kind of zoology or environmental conservation, or work relating to endangered species :)

🦋
I am really looking forward to indeed, have enough to do whatever I like in my free time and someday settle a kitchen place or something because I love cooking in my free time and that'd allow me to have a decent income while doing what I like. I mean, if I could choose again, I'd be a physiotherapist because I think I'd enjoy that kind of job more. I am just in for the mental challenge I guess :P
I had no idea there were books :O I mean, I think I was aware but never thought about the possibility of that. For your description, it's totally my kind of stuff. You're almost done it seems!! Don't look back, in a year or so you won't hear of them, ever again! At least not the super complex numbers unless you take some weird engineering classes as well o_o in which case, you should be afraid and learn a lot right now

Yeah the whole show is based off the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin! The show follows the first book pretty closely actually so it definitely helps if the storylines are confusing you!
And yeah,I know not too many maths classes for me but right now it seems like an eternity haha. I'm doing a lot better than I did in actual High School though! And no, definitely no engineering, or physics or anything. I am going to be a Bio major, so the only math I'll use is statistics and whatever math I need for the two chemistry courses I have to take. (At least for the most part Chem math is easy... its just figuring out which formulas to use for what that's confusing haha)
