Oh hell yes I would. I do own a few dvd collections of favourite shows and based on how I watch those...well Netflix and I would become all too good of friends. Addiction here I come!

http://www.solarmovie.is is where I watch everything that I can't get on regular tv or can't record/watch because I already have other things recording. One of the reasons I love having two monitors is because I can watch stuff full screen on one and do subeta or whatever on the other.
I totally missed the reference to Beth. Oh well.
, I feel like the show really has a lot of dead (pardon the pun) space. They spent a whole season sitting on a farm talking about what they should be doing. Talk talk talk. Dialogue is good but I wanted them to get up and do something dammit! It is a good show, really. But parts of it do slog along for too long./

have you seen the preview for this weeks walking dead? I don't know who that guy is and what the significance is!
I avoid previews at all costs. I've been 'spoiled' far too often by them. There are times were I deliberately tape everything so I can fast forward past them. Yet I still manage to get spoilers from time to time.

SO I was thinking...when rick and all the guys were lined up at the trough to get their throats slit and the head guy came in, then all the waiting around for him to come back, etc....
why did none of them seem at all concerned about the first couple DEAD guys turning into zombies?

Well I think its how they killed them. They were, after all, preparing them to be food, so you would have to kill them in a way that they wouldn't turn. Obviously they slit their throats, but I thought you needed a head kill to make sure they wouldn't turn. Maybe that first bash with the baseball bat was to kill them, not to make them unconscious and the throat was to "blood" them like you need to do with pork? LOL I'm really not too familiar with the ins and outs of cannibalism and how the body needs to be prepared.

I don't think so. I think they messed up. lol
that's always possible. I've seen plenty of errors, factual, continuity, cannon (forgetting they established something in an earlier season), etc.

The thing at the church...I have read blogs today that were all so surprised that RIck and Co. were there waiting for the bad guys because in the past he has made such poor decisions. But I was so not surprised. I completely expected them to be there. The previews for next week look really good!

I wasn't surprised either. Well maybe a little, I kept expecting a trap of some kind - a trip wire, even glue on the floor, or something to distract them, then Rick and Co would jump out and shoot them. So it didn't go down quite as I expected it to, but I figured they would be there. I guess I was forgetting that Rick had promised to kill Gareth with the red handled machete in ep 1.
Also, in case you haven't figured it out, the guy you asked about way back, from the end of episode 1 - that's....can't remember his name, but he was in the pilot episode of the show. Rick gets out of the hospital and hits his head or something and this guy and his son rescue him and let him know what's going on. He stays when Rick leaves so he can kill his zombie wife, but is unable to. Anyhow, we see him in Season 3 and he's pretty much gone nuts, he has a zombie trap (barbed wire obstacle course) and shoots zombies from the 2nd floor of this store I think. The guy doesn't remember Rick at first, but then is reminded when Rick mentions the walkie talkie. He gives Rick & co his stash of weapons and refuses to come with them - giving the impression, basically, that he's going to kill himself. Now we see him at the end of Season 5, ep 1, and catch glimpses now and then. Wonder when he'll show up for real and how sane/insane he is?
We'll finally find out what happened to Beth...and also who's in the bushes? And what happened to Carol? He wouldn't have left Carol hiding in the bushes, she would have walked up with him. So it could be Beth...could be the crazy guy...or someone new? I'm thinking its not Beth, I suspect Carol was left behind to watch Beth (probably from a distance) while Daryl went back for reinforcements. Carol & Daryl may have met someone else lurking around where Beth is being held, or maybe he met someone on the way back.

Okay, somehow I missed seeing that at the very end of ep. 1 and I thought when I saw it online that it was a spoiler for the next episode. I KNOW, because I was on subeta while watching it, lol!
I do remember him though I had forgotten about the second setting we saw him in in Season 3, so thanks for that reminder. Hmm, it will be interesting to see when he really does reappear to Rick. I can't imagine it is him with Daryl because they hadn't met, had they? Was Daryl with Rick when he got the weapons?
I bet you are right about where Carol is. From what I saw last night it seems Beth is still in a "hospital" of some kind. I can just say that I am more into it this year than the past 2 years. They are doing a much better job with it this season, I think.
