That would make me want to change my HA more if I had to make an HA with a different item each day. I've been mostly in a funk. I usually do an HA each day of October but I just couldn't do it this year. :D

I did change to a Belle inspired HA for today since I got the new background. :D

Yep, its one of the reasons I joined DI in the first place. I like playing dress up with my HA, but two things were happening, one was a lack of inspiration and the other was a lack of variety - even with thousands of items in my wardrobe I kept wearing the same few items. The problem has to be a even worse for a male HA since there is such a lack of male specific attire. Anyhow, DI often picks things I'd never ordinarily use and I get to make use of stuff that would otherwise moulder in my wardrobe. Sometimes my HAs turn out ugly and/or strange, but other times I think I make it work well.

Your HA does look good by the way. I do notice, yet I often fail to mention it, sorry about that.

You know...I used to love rain. Really, really did, would even go out of my way to go out for a walk in the rain. But these past few years, rain has just not been fun. Now when I think of rain, it just makes me think of discomfort. I'm sad about that.

It is sad. I like rain, love storms. Only thing that annoys me about rain is getting my glasses wet and not being able to see. For that reason I tend to try to stay out of it. But I love when it storms and I am safely snuggled inside.

It just started storming here. Looks horrible outside. IF I disappear you know the power went out.

I used to love being snuggled inside during storms too, but now like , I'm usually more concerned with power outages and not able to PLAY anymore!

You have never had a curry?.. You can always try to cook one at home, it is what I do, so they probably aren't really authentic.. So many different curry styles to choose from..

shakes head.. Wasn't making meatloaf that night, but do every now and then.. Is something I can prepare and have in the fridge for the boys to put in the oven and cook for dinner.. They do know how to cook quite a few things from scratch but it makes it an easy night for them..

I'm thinking of entering since Eric pointed out that there will be an achievement attached to having done so.. Have looked at a few videos etc.. They have made me less confident rather than more..

I think I'd be flip flopping from wanting to go into the haunted house to, no way, not going to happen at such an alarming rate it would make everyones head spin..

I don't really cook for myself anymore. lol, I don't even have the gas turned on so I can use the stove...decided it was just dumb to have another bill for something I would seldom use. Or I would use the oven TOO much baking cakes and cookies and things I don't need to be eating. I did go buy myself a hotplate last week so I can at least boil water to make pasta when the urge hits. Other than that I have a toaster over, electric skillet, crock pot, umm....toaster, microwave, deep fryer (used once several years ago!) a Georgie FOreman grill, probably a few other small appliances that I have forgotten about! Can you tell I used to cook a lot? Now it is mostly frozen diet meals for me.

You should definitely enter the contest. Who cares about how it is carved? do not be intimidated! (does that mean you have never carved a pumpkin?) It is all about the achievement for me, not that the csc prize wouldn't be great but I don't have a hope in hell for that.

Ugh! I have spent hours trying to come up with something morostid-ie that also hides the sage and eye thing to avoid some hexes and I can NOT come up with anything that looks even remotely decent.

I do it with the vanishing cream and second skin. But that doesn't really help you. You could use the vanishing cream behind your background and put it under there...if you used a mask or full face makeup.

Are you still zombi-fied? Im not real sure I want to know the answer to that.. I thought you had cured eons ago.

I am still, never cured. Well, not never. I cured after the first year. However many years. I stopped curing when I got the second skin.

I usually hide it under my second skin too. But today, since I've cured my zapper skin, I'm going all zombie and its just hidden behind makeup. You can still see the edges of it, but I figure with the zombie disfigurement it doesn't stand out.

Until today I never would have guessed, y'all. I need to take a crash course in HA creation.
