pffft nothing to learn here. I use the second skin because zombie, vanishing cream because zombie extends past the edges of the second skin

Oh that second skin is truly an HA saver. Before I won mine, I was on the verge of curing. After years of trying to dress my gray zombie it just got harder and harder.

But even without a zombie base the second skin has so many possibilities for interesting effects with foreground items and other things that cover the HA base. Its only drawback is how pale it is. I really wish I could have darker skin - a lot of the blushes and sparkles and other things just won't work with it.

Im still amazed. I struggle finding things that might have a chance of being a distant match with a huge wardrobe - without sofetch I'm hopeless.

I guess that's what I get for living in jeans and tank tops or sweats all my life. Total fashion-fopas

I am with you on the paleness of the skin. Darker would be nice. Less translucent too. I always really wish it did not have eyebrows and the outline for the eyes. Makes many of the face items totally unusable.

I actually like the translucence. I usually use the cursed cookie under the skin to give it a bit of colour and uniformity, but sometimes I experiment with putting different things under it to give it some texture. I totally agree with the eyes & eyebrows though, I've had to make compromises more than once because of that.

I also have a huge wardrobe and often find it more of a disadvantage - just staring at it going "all this stuff and NOTHING to wear." LOL I'm no fashionista and when I make an HA that others like, its usually totally by accident rather than design.

It sometimes takes me hours! And almost never less than 30 minutes...unless it looks like the one today where it is just a basic nothing, lol

I have a basic HA saved that I always start with. Vanishing cream and skin, of course, but there is also a body blush under the skin, some golden glow something or other in there somewhere to give me a little color too. I have used other things under the skin occasionally but I have to really be in the mood or be super bored to spend time playing with the base like that. Never tried the cookie, will have to give it a roll.

Do you have both the sage and the monocle? I only have the monocle and wondering if I should spend the 7.5M to get the sage as well.

do have both and am wearing both. SO you see how well I am doing with both on! IDK if it is actually supposed to be better with both or not. I put them on because I do have have them, that's all.

Interesting. I only have the monocle and it seems very protective all on its own. Last year I did get hexed, but not very often.

I did not get hexed much last year either. Maybe I am getting it all over with in one day, I wish!
