UGH, that was totally embarrassing!'

SO turns out I have this little box on the side that had a checkmark in it that said OFFICIAL POST and that is apparently what made all my posts show up on the admin feed. So sorry. I deleted ALL our other topics, as you can see. I don't think our post count went down. Hopefully there will be no blowback from my stupid mistake. :/

Seems like an odd thing to have in the first place. Why would an user have the option of placing their posts on the admin feed in the first place? Guess that shows why you were in purple. :D

I guess I am not showing purple anymore? It is so close to my blue I honestly can't tell. IDK why it has the option there! Serendipity says she hates it because the default is ON and she has a hard time remembering to uncheck it for her normal posts. I can imagine! Just in this one forum is going to be hard enough to remember to uncheck.

Can you delete individual posts? Like if you accidentally forget to turn off the official check?

You should really make a suggestion board about getting it turned off as the default.

, I can delete individual posts. I started out that way last night with just my own posts. But every time I deleted one another would pop up on the admin list. And then Serendipity pointed out that people around here tend to bookmark things when they find them. SO That was when I decided to just ditch everything. After I did that and made the new topic she tried to get in to both the old ones and the new and could not with any of them. She was great for helping me figure it all out.

I know we were not discussing anything that could not be seen by outsiders but it still felt weird. And embarrassing. THe first thing I deleted was that post I made with the emails in it. But I mean, even that did not have a user name or say anything bad, just quotes. BUT STILL.

It seems even the posts I deleted did not make our post count go down. And they are still going up. I am at 7,792 before I click post here...

Was I still awake when you were posting emails? Because I don't remember any emails.
