I just got another ticket and I've posted here once, and on another topic once, so far today.

OMG I HATED those constant alerts for scratchcards. Now I just try to remember to set it once when I buy one late in the day so the reminder is there first thing in the morning.

I've managed to mess up my browser somehow. LOL I was typing fast a furious and managed to hit some kind of keyboard command, now everything browser related is missing except the tabs. No minimize, can't get to my windows menu. No idea how to get it back.

you should be able to close your browser and reopen it with it coming back to the correct configuration. I know, weirdly worded sentence.

Why can't i get a ticket today? Probably because keith hates me now that I smailled him last night in a panic over the admin feed, lol

How do you guys hard boil eggs?

to boil eggs you have to cover them completely with cool water. Then only put the stove on a medium heat. Once they start to boil they need to go for 12 minutes. As soon as the 12 minutes is up run them under COLD water. For a long time. Till they are completely cool.

I read to let them go to they boil and then remove them from the burner and cover them for 12mins. That sound right?

Hmm. So they are already boiling, but not a rolling boil. Just some bubbles on the bottom, because I had there heat up too high. :P I have it on medium now. So you think I should just let them go for 12mins like this or what?

You are right. That's exactly what I did. LOL so simple, but I was totally clueless.

There are a million and one ways to hard boil eggs. I get the water boiling first, run the cold eggs under hot tap water to warm them up so they won't crack when dunked in boiling water. Turn the heat down so the boiling mostly stops then gently lower the warmed eggs into the pot. Cover pot and let eggs cook for about 15 minutes with the heat on medium low. Like Georgie, says, when the time is up put them under cold running water until they thoroughly cool.

But it doesn't really matter, if you over cook them, you get a gray film around the yolk, but it doesn't change the taste, its mostly just aesthetic. If they boil too much, you can crack the shell, and that makes shelling them harder, but again doesn't much impact the taste - though they don't store for long if cracked.

Okay. They are just kinda simmering or whatever now

Guess this will just be a learning experience. :D I don't know quite what to do. :D They are going to be mashed into tuna salad and/or be turned into deviled eggs for tomorrow so it doesn't matter about the grey film. :D

like says there are all different ways. I just told you what I have always done which is what my mom always did. And probably her mom. Except of course, SHE had to like, built a fire after chopping the wood and carrying it in the house :D

They are boiling gently now so I have started the timer. At 2:31 I will crack one open and find out what happens. :D

so what are you making with boiled eggs? ANd you will have a hard time peeling it until you run it under the cold water

that is always fun to do! I love finding quest items in npc shops that have a good resale price. That makes questing much more interesting for me. THen I buy them all from the main shop and sell them to ...well, you know how it works :p

I don't know. I was too busy buying up the plushies and closed her tab accidentally before I could see. But considering my pet costs 47970 sP to train, ANY stat is good value.

that is the one thing I do like about scratching all these cards/ Now that they make the stats go to the active pet that is.

oh yeah, loved that change sooooo much! Its one of the reasons I gave up on scratchcards initially. The coin machine now gives stats to your active pet as well, though I rarely get stat increases with coins.

Need to post more...only got 2 raffle tickets so far.

I'm back! :D I started with 12 eggs. I have since eaten the test egg. :D It was perfect. No gray film or anything. just right. 4 others have since went into the tuna salad which is made and is chillin' in the refrigerator. :) The other will be eaten or turned into deviled eggs tomorrow.

I cooled them down and had no problem peeling them.
