waves I'm misskitten713 from N_A (and also neo) but I haven't posted there in ages. Lol, I had a baby and then fell off the face of the earth for a year or so... I just joined subeta because of the lag and the boring-ness of neo lately and mentioned to me that I should come chat with everyone over here since I was all lonely with no subeta friends. I think I recognize a few of you... /urdin, /same un on LJ, right?, I can't remember your other usernames but I remember when you moved to Korea and couldn't access the nc mall anymore, right?

I still play neopets but it's mostly to chat in my guild, do my dailies, and occasionally customize my pets. Has anyone seen the news on neopets since the layoff? It's so sad. There's barely anything there anymore. I have to say though that I'm really enjoying dressing my HA here. Sooooo much better than neo's customization page! And I'm loving this dancing with people thing. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all my tokens but it's fun!!!

- Hi! Yep, I'm urdin on neo. I hardly ever go there except to do dailies. I think my guild kicked me out for being inactive. Oh well. Turn the dance trinkets in for prizes. it's funny, I did the complete opposite. I consciously made the decision to stay away from the pets I made at neo. Like I want to keep the worlds completely separate, you know?

Hope everyone is enjoying their Masquerade so far. It's one of my favorite Subetan events, I get to use all the clothes and wigs I never wear lol. Has anyone goten their dances interrupted by what's his face? I didn't know we had to go to the ballroom to get his event, but I've been going every time and still nothing.

Oh I didn't know that you had to go to the ballroom either. I haven't been going much. I'll have to actually go now. Although, I have absolutely no clue as to how to use the battle aspect of the site. I tried today and I was soooo confused. It also didn't help that I didn't have any weapons. Oops!

Speaking of pets... I think I'm going to make Nishikii nostalgic tonight! My first non basic pet! Squee!

- the battling takes some getting used to, especially since weapons are done by tier. There are some good guides on the battle forum, but the main thing is to start training your pet. - there used to be a stock market but nobody used it so it's been discontinued. The best way to make points is to do quests. Start off with Sarah or The Wizard until you build up some subeta points, then move on to some of the other ones.

Yay! The real life Nishiki was a beta fish that looked like a mini koi (not the neopet the kind one keeps in a pond). When I saw the nostalgic whatever he is I couldn't resist!

When you first train your pet, you have to do level, but then you can choose from the dropdown menu. You can train them with just a little sp, and they sometimes gain more than one point for each thing. Autotraining is nice, but it does take 25 CSC (like NC). They usually gained about 35 levels or so for just 24 hours doing that. If you need help with anything, let me know. I am still learning myself, but I can probably still be helpful. :)

Yeah, there's a bit of a learning curve to subeta battling. I'm not very good at it myself, I'm too lazy and cheap to actually keep up with it. That IS a slight advantage neo has over subeta. Sort of. Congrats on making your fishie Nostalgic!

Agreed, queeeest quest quest. Also do Item Hunt (it's under Games) and Shinwa's Quest (in the Sacred Lands) daily. Item Hunt is pretty good for making a profit, especially once you get to later levels, and Shinwa's stat boosters can be sold for many moneys, or used to help train your pet.

Thanks! I've definitely been questing like crazy, and making a lot of sP off of that and from reselling good deals found in the process. The pricing system seems to be really vulnerable to someone missing a digit when they price their item. Then a bunch of people match that mistake with autopricing. Pretty sweet! :D

I've been loving how easy it is to make a meaningful amount of sP here!

I was asking about Plushie Tycoon because I just really miss it. I loved that game. The last few times I've tried to play it in recent years, it's been so buggy it is literally impossible to play a game through. :(

I'm not all that into games, but Caliph's Tomb is a good one, it's just solitaire and it gives you 20k each win, and you can play 10 times a day. And you pretty much win every time, not like neo solitaire. >> I also used to play Matlal's Jewels a lot, it's a match three game (like Sutek's Tomb, Candy Crush, etc). I can only get to like, level 7 but it has a pretty good payout. I occasionally play Buerro's... something... Basket Bonanza? it's under the flash games category. I can't think of any neo games it's like, but it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Speaking of matching three, , pretty sure I know the answer to this but have any of you tried Ghoul Catchers? I played a bunch of levels and wasn't getting any rewards. I opened a ticket, they responded with a form (good ole Rico S does love his form letters) but last night magically all my rewards appeared, so good on them for fixing a glitch (and not telling me about it). I was a little startled when I suddenly had neomails from myself lol. My roommate says it stopped working for her, the game just freezes up when she tries to load a level, but she's a lot farther than me.

I haven't downloaded the game yet, but I've heard it's glitchy as hell. If I can do it on my ipad, I'll give it a shot.

I didn't know plushie tycoon is glitchy as well ;w; I never get that game lol, it feels so complicated ! xD
