oh gosh, i can't imagine being allergic to dogs, or cats, or any animal. i'm very, very lucky to have no known allergies (at least to animals). that really sucks, i'm sorry. ;; i'm glad you're still able to share your life with a dog but it really makes me sad that you can't be close to her without being uncomfortable! ;o; shots are scary - to me at least - but i suppose i would manage to do them myself as well if i wasn't able to be close with my babies!

oh man, i wish i was able to help more as well! unfortunately, with anything bite related, it's definitely something i wouldn't feel confident really advising anything for online. since i'm not familiar with the dog and can't assess her body language (or that of the other dog), i hesitate to offer anything that could potentially be the wrong kind of advice for you! i'm glad she at least has another dog friend next door, that is a hopeful note!

however, i do agree that at least attempting the meeting on neutral territory would be the safest option if you're both willing to try again. and try your best not to be nervous - albeit you've totally got reason to be - because they will sense the tension and it might make her more reactive! i wouldn't mind hearing more, but like i said, i can't really say much 'cus i don't wanna make things worse for her by misjudging!

however, i am incredibly sorry about the loss of your baby. rat terriers are such a good breed. ;; if you ever need to talk about it, feel free to drop me a comment! we lost one of our babies about two years ago now, too, and i still think about him sometimes and miss him a lot. i hope you're able to get things sorted with this friend - but its possible that the two dogs just aren't meant to get along! but there will be another dog out there for you, and for kylie, for sure! hamsters are amazing but, you're right, they're not the most lively of pets, haha!

oh man, honestly?? you're talking my language. like, i have my love for horror games and things like that, but i'm definitely casual about my gaming - which is amusing since my boyfriend is one of those 'competitive' types! i love the simpleton games, i could sit down and play animal crossing for entire days honestly. i'm so hyped about sims 4 (SIMS 4 PETS IS OUT AND I AM SCREAMING) but i'm too broke to buy it rn so kjsjkdsad. but oh my gosh... idk if you're more into the making humans or making animals (i love both but gosh the pets add-on has always been my favorite part of the series since i was a wee babe) but THE CUSTOMIZATION IS INSANE.

young adult novels are great! honestly, i'm always looking for recommendations (it's unfortunately one of those genres that gets flooded so there's some gems but i'm too busy to dig around to find them) if you have any. ALSO. POETRY. YES. SUGGEST POETS/ANTHOLOGIES/ANYTHING TO ME. i'm such a fan of poetry. especially slam poetry. and, well, my love for astrology is probably a little obvious but oh my goshhhhh, you're amazing. i'm familiar with the name of that novel but i've never read it, but i totally understand the 'too wordy' thing (looking at stephen king) - i hope you can get through it!

i went on a lot in this comment so i don't wanna make it too much longer with things about me but feel free to ask me any questions you might have!! i'm not the most exciting person tbh, i am a dog trainer and groomer, and plan to train service dogs as a career - but right now i'm focusing on health and stuff before i can really put my heart into it!

That's what we did. My mama was cremated, which in it's own ways is nice. Myself, my dad and my sister were/are able to split her ashes up and now no matter where I live in my life, wherever life takes me, I can always take her with me. Plus I have a braid of my mama's hair in my wallet that I never take out. And as soon as I can afford it, I'm going to be getting the stuff to make myself and my sister resin pendents with ashes and hair inside of them so we can wear her - literally everywhere.
