Hello Olive, You sent me such a beautifully caring sMail weeks ago, along with some gifties, and your letter was definitely appreciated and rec'd with gratitude. Unfortunately I'm not good at being responsive in my twilight years the way I was so long ago. I hope my silence wasn't interpreted as me not appreciating your loving response. I also greatly appreciated that you shared some of your true life issues. I'm not spelling out anything in this comment, and I know a letter would be more adequate/also private, but this is all I'm able to do in this moment, and I didn't want to wait any longer to let you know that your caring and compassionate letter was so great to receive (and so unusual for many ppl). So I'm crazily caught up in this event (Vesnali) and thought I'd drop some flower/coins onto you, but I see no place to so so, therefore I'll simply say that I have an abundance of Vesnali coins as well as most other currencies, and I also see no WL here, but I wanted to let you know that I would be happy to consider gifting you (I don't want to put out a blanket statement of a promise to gift w/out any parameters). I simply wanted you to know that I'd love to look at your WL (if you have a hidden one that you can send a link to) or simply let me know a variety of things you'd like and I'd do my best to gift you something. It's not that I think every kind act deserves a reward (but I kinda do to some extent, especially here where it's play, NOT real life and one of my favorite things to do as I play is to give gifts). I actually know ppl who have such a hard time receiving that they repeatedly say "you didn't need to do that" and I think ppl have an erroneous notion that it's polite to do so, when in fact that's the opposite of good manners. To simply say "thank you" is all that's required. I read that in a book of etiquette when I was only 8 years old and I never forgot it. Having a compliment deflected or a gift dismissed verbally as unnecessary VS being thanked actually upsets me so much that I sometimes get angry (if it's an over and over thing) and I've definitely quietly walked away (rather than criticize) in situations of that ilk.
