Well tiffin ave is actually st rt 224 also once you move just head west on 224 over towards the texas road house, jump on I-75 south and not to far away from findlay you will come to a town called Bluffton. That is where I think Shirley's started and it is still open there. If you ever make it there you have to try the Buckeye popcorn. I have a huge bag of it in my kitchen right now. LOL

Deshler is a pretty small place, so you will have a lot more choices once you move to findlay for places to eat, things to do and places to shop.

Garsh this makes me miss home even more. I know it's is not the same place it was 8 years ago. The mall closed down not to long ago, but think it said they are putting a target in that area. I know Shirleys popcorn closed down in findlay. There is still one open in Bluffton. We have it shipped to use here. LoL

So you will be close to Tiffin avenue. There is town also called tiffin that is east of Findlay on st rt 224. It was 8 years on June 4th that I have been here, so not sure what is still open there and what is closed. I will tell you if you want some good food try a place called the Beer barrel and they have a patio to eat out in the summer. It is by AMC CLASSIC Findlay 12 (movie theater). So many things to chose from and all are good. I miss the food back home too and the pizzas from back there! LoL

I went outside and told my hubby "you're not going to believe this" That someone I knew on here was moving to Findlay and what a small world it feels like sometimes and he mentioned Marathon. Hope your place isn't to close to the Blanchard river. That thing likes to flood.
