We do! She LOVES anything and everything book-- nothing better than getting a new book to read or have read to her. lmao I'm very proud of both of them-- they're turning out to be wonderful little humans!

You're fine! :) I know what you mean- I'm often accessing from work during our "down time" and it sometimes takes me a bit to respond. :)

My kids have been thriving and I'm very thankful for that. Brynja had a rougher time adjusting to NOT going to school immediately here in America and had a year-long break in between the time we got here and starting Kindergarten. She reads on a 2nd grade reading level. :)

I'm so sorry Runes! Sadly, there isn't a whole lot out there that won't drain a person of their passion. Congrats on embracing autism though! :) I've been trying to mask less and NOT apologize for it. Its been... an experience.

I personally can't speak for a lot of the outdoor culture of Iceland... I faced a lot of xenophobia over there and ended up just... shutting down and shutting myself in. It was so hard to get anyone to talk to me or even go on a walk with me, even within my husband's family. I'm still working on undoing a lot of the anxiety that developed from that. In the past 18 months, I've gotten to where I can drive on my own again and can handle longer bursts of interaction with other people.

Hi Rune! I'm so sorry for how late this is! I've been without a PC the last year-- housing market in Iceland crashed and we were forced to return to the USA. I have finally found stability with work (911 operator!) and have managed to slowly build us back up. :) My husband JUST got his work permit as well, so things are definitely looking much better for us these days!
