I have something dark in color, darkmatter pet and need to make it light pink... or rather two shades of pink a lighter one on the body and semi darker on the hair... I don't understand how to make something dark into something lighter when all it does it come out a darker shade of pink instead of the exact color I picked. Trying to do something on my own and wondering if you have any tips ^_^; using Photoshop but the jest of things could be/should semi universal.
