I am very sorry if my pet's story has made you upset. This was not my intent to make this pet anything but a hope for the future. I tried my best to be sure not to have any specifics (like races or places) mentioned. In all honesty this pet wasn't even supposed to be down for nomination yet... I was still working on it, and was about to get folks to help me make sure I hadn't added anything that could be seen as unethical or set down in a wrong tone before even thinking of entering it. My whole goal here was never to belittle this pandemic, but to give hope that we would soon overcome it. Please believe me I meant no harm. I'll be removing the story and changing the pet until time when it will not be seen as offensive... which I never meant it to be.
