I haven't been to a fair in years! We ought to go, they have some nice ones, I'm just always working when they're going on lol. Bloody medica appointments- you ok? Or is it just the normal run? I promised hub to go to all the doctors this year now that I hit a certain age, cause I mostly ignored it lol So I shall probably be joining you in appointmets soon enough
Oh yay a weekend getaway! That does sound lovely <3 Yeah sister and her hub have a care fund for their youngest (that's the disabled one). My bro in law is like a molecular biologist so makes good money which is just as well. If something happens to them, there will be money for long term care. zomg my keyboard is going nd driving me nuts lol. need a new one. But I forgot to tell you, I finally beat saggi without spheres :D that ws nice lol
Oh yea hub and I got wills, life insurance, all that. My parents did not have much but we were all functioning so that was ok XD But I wanted to make sure we were prepared and our kids would be ok. My sister's youngest is VERY delayed, barely verbal, and they have this whole plan but their youngest is al PFT I wil take care of him if something happens to you! It was so sweet :) My kids learned all the house and yard chores, to take care of their cars, to clean up after themselves, though youngest teds to be very messy in his room, all that. I wanted to make sure tht when they do leave, they'll know how to handle themselves. It seems to me that is part of our job as parents, ya know? long weekend for us :D We don't get a ton of holidays compared to most every other country lol, but I always appreciate when they happen ^.^
yeah I remember being stupid in love lol. I blush to think of some of the stupid things I fell for. I was lucky and nothing was harmed but my pride at least. I mean with disabilities there isn't a lot she could realy do so she'd probably have ben right back with you even if she had planed a bit better I'd imagine. So you're doing the right thing geting her ready at least. I know way too many people who's adult kids cant even do their own laundry and they dont have any disabilities. I dont get it. Don't you WANT your kids to be their own person? Maybe they don't, or just don't care. Was another scorcher out there today. Head indexes over 100. Come on fall I am ready for you!
I have no idea. She actually did it to a couple of his friends, and he believed her and stopped being friends with them. And after it was his turn I was all....now maybe you owe those guys an apology? And he was all NO WAI I still believe her! Dude. Ah well, young people are not known for their ability to logic. He does have a car, and a job, and a lot of nice guitars lol. That is what he spends his money on instead of saving up for school grumbles I know I need to be patient, that he will find his own way, that so llong as he is working and payinng rent and contributing to the house, I have no cause for complaint. And covid really messed him up too. BUT STILL. I want him to think of the future a little more. By his age, I was getting ready to graduate and enter a profession! Course, hubby took a while and went back when he was older. In his case it was vietnam who screwed his college up, but he went back when he was older, which is where we met. So it is not like it can't be done, it is just harder
