hey!! i’ve been doing okay, a bit of a rocky time lately with my health up and down but what else is new haha it’s just the way things go sometimes! thankfully things have been starting to trend upwards lately so i have hope ;u; thank you so much for asking ♥️ how is everything with you? enjoying your summer?

I think the largest part in the US was desegregation, so early gen xers got the benefit more than later boomers cause of all the fighting against it that happened. It is hard to keep not liking people when you actually see and talk to them every day. Course, that did not evenly happen everywhere so there are still issues, but it was a good jolt. Kids tend to be most willing to change too ^.^ And then of course those early xers/late boomers taught THEIR kids, the middle xers/y's, who in turn taught millenials and on and on. Not perfect, but there has been aa LOT of progress towards a more accepting society which is ideal. Societies that are less accepting tend to petrify and disintegrate, been like that all through history Side note zomg can fall come please? It was a "feels like 97" by ten in the am today. I feel dead XD

omg, her own kid! The poor thing. Good on them for patching up later though, more grace than I got for sure! I do not know. I think it is part of that No One Can Tell Me What to Do bullshit that most of us grow out of after we get our first job and realize that lots of people get to tell us what to do. I think some of it is just simple ignorance, like they grew up with it and though they know society frowns upon it now, they just do not understand,, or care to understand, why. And of course part of it is because they really are bigots lol, there is always that. I think for the most part the youngs are getting past that so that is at least SOME progress. I mean there will always be jerks, but no one can claim they didn't know anymore sort of thing

I hope things work out too! I am sure they will though. Eagles are not ducks, who will mourn their mate even to the point of not eating anymore and dying themselves sometimes. Raptors are more like us lol. After a short period, time to move on. I guess it is kind of sad. I constantly have to remind my husband not to use the F word that means burning stick. I am all, DUDE, that is NOT cool. Especially seeing as both our kids are bi. I don't want them hearing that sort of thing and thinking their dad hates them, instead of is just being a stupid old man who says stupid things. Like he is not even a bigot, at least not the kind who actually hates gay people, but he uses a bigot word cause Men His Age Use That Word and I haaaatteee it. He is getting better but once in a while he wings it out

Birds do not live long compared to us, so if we wait a year to mourn, a month should be good enough for a bird XD Shadow should get another mate as soon as possible
