Its ok, I still have lots of plants....some are 25 years old or more....just different life spans is all. I get not having the right lighting. Are apartment faces the away from the sun at times...so not really bright light...this means no succulents or bright light loving plants without a grow light, which I have a supplement my low light plants....woo. lol...have some old moss balls in a water terrarium too. I get it...its problem the unfortunate breeding of some of the fish that make em nuts

Butterworts (pinguiculas) are cute...they require more of a tropical atmosphere that I unfortunately dont have :( I have a lot of plants...though some have recently been reaching the end of their lifespans...(adopted from old ladies etc so they have been around for a long time) I have 2 orandas, black skirt tetras and neon tetras at the moment...Im a bit miffed at the black skirt tetras because I researched them and they werent supposed to be aggressive and yet...mine are assholes.

That sounds cute. I have 2 cats, 1 tortoise (still) two tanks with fish and lots of plants.
