It's been a rough year. Milwaukee has good points and bad. Lots of great walking areas, awesome nerdy shops, the beach, food, the third ward. But there's a fair amount of gun violence in the area we live. A pregnant mom was gunned down in a drive by not far from the house we rent a room in. That was very scary. He was caught though. I've had to call 911 a few times over gunfire. The cats are all good. After Georgia was spayed, she ballooned up. She's a chunky baby now! It's great. She and Rudy still don't get along too well, but that's Rudy for ya.

My mom and my maternal grandmother both passed away within the last year. We live in Milwaukee now. Sorry to hear you're struggling with yourself. That's always hard.
