Due to the servers resetting and overall lag, we\'ve decided that instead of ending Keel Hauliday tomorrow evening, we are going to extend it until Tuesday night! This means you get an extra day to restock and complete Carl quests for pirate items. <3

Hi everyone! We realize that the site has been lagging this morning, but unfortunately it's out of our control. rackspace (our server provider) has been restarting servers to fix the bash bug that has popped up on the entire internet over the past few days and is a very serious security threat.

What this means: Over the next 24 hours, the site may lag or go down. Some of our servers may be restarted or reimaged. This is for the security and safety of all of us, though!

Retirement Warning: On October 10th the lines Giselle Underwater Gurl, Lililace Violet Chic, and Lyrical Kumos will be retired from the Subeautique! Grab the last pieces you need from those lines while you can.

There will be a brand new reward card in the Cash Shop on October 15th. That means the current card, along with its prizes, will be retired at that time as well!

Remember that you earn stamps on your card for each 1000 credits you purchase through Paypal or Stripe. These purchases do not have to be all at once!

The hovers around the site (user and item hovers) have been updated! This should speed up your page views by a lot, and they should be a lot more reliable. It should also make pages with a lot of items like big shops load much faster!

Technical
We moved the hovers to the javascript framework we hope to have all of our code running in the future. This will make page loads significantly less stressful on your browsers. Prior to this it searched the entire page to find all of the elements that could hover (which is why sometimes you saw images have the item hover on them) and gave them a hover. Now, it isn't activated until you actually hover. Also, you actually get a little spin thing now while waiting for the information to pop up.

It also means previously where we had issues with hovers not working (in places where content appears after the page loads - places like trades, and newer pages that use single page navigation) will now work automatically.

We announced this a few months back, but unfortunately the time is now upon us that the >Ultimate Game Card and Ultimate Points will be retired by their manufacturer, and therefore, no longer able to be used as a payment method here on Subeta. We apologize for this inconvenience!

September 30th is the day the company will stop allowing their redemption, so we recommend you use up any remaining points or cards as soon as possible to avoid any issues as the deadline approaches. Please don't wait until the 30th!

If you're looking for another method of payment that is similar to the Ultimate Game Card, we recommend purchasing Visa or Mastercard gift cards, which you can find just about anywhere, and using them on Stripe.
