Congratulations to BrokenIsaac for winning a Dark Matter Potion in the Potion Lottery!

The Clothing Rack has released a set of clothing inspired by the White Opal.

Always wanted your own Tasmanian Devil, or Wallaby? Well, the Magic Box has your answer ;)

Lots of comotion in the Minon Market today, apparently the Frillik has been knocking things over and harrassing the other minions. You should go buy one to help out!

Happy Australia Day!

Celebrating the first colony in Australia, today is Australia Day! (I know, it's halfway through for you aussies!) Australians make up a pretty large portion of Subeta users, and are some of the most interesting (see: ), so enjoy your day!

The Plushie Parlor is stocking these overly adorable plushies (and a few others, including a Kangaroo. Which everyone thinks of when they think of Australia. That's why the Emu and Wombat get the spotlight instead ;))

The Token Shop has this new creature up for sale :)

If you're feeling something sweet, the Free Gift has Lamington for you :D

Tonight, around (or past) 10:00PM Subeta time, the site will be experiencing downtime while we add new hardware to our servers (and a few new servers, too ;)) in our effort to keep the site moving as fast and smoothly as possible.
At the moment there is no estimate for the amount of downtime, but it won't be anything extreme.

The Home Appliances shop, concerned for all those subetans running around barefoot over scratchy wooden flooring, have released some wonderful plush rugs for you to stand and frolic on!

I've always wondered what Bloodred Potions are made of, and if it has something to do with all the roadkill around Subeta disappearing when new batches are made... regardless! There are new Bloodred potions in the Token Shop!

Congratulations to BL3ACH for winning a Lilac Potion in the Potion Lottery! The ticket was bought for them by !

Early in the spring of 2001 an up-and-coming young actor named Heath Ledger sat in the bar of a NYC hotel, talking to an entertainment reporter for EW.com. He had a new new movie coming out, The Knight's Tale and while talking about it he told the reporter that, "'I'm on a journey,'' he said. ''I'm on a walkabout. A lot of people think ambition or success, and they think dollars.... My success is getting underneath that. At the end of the day, that's the only thing you're going to carry with you when you die.''
Sadly, yesterday at the far-too-tender age of 28, Heath Ledger passed away in his New York City apartment, carrying with him a great deal of success in reaching people and touching lives through the honesty and charm of the characters he'd portrayed.
Whether you remember him from his very early days, starring in Roar, or his first big movie, 10 Things I Hate About You,, or perhaps his turn as the iconic Australian Hero Ned Kelly, by the time he delivered his incredible performance as Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain, you most likely knew that when you went to a Heath Ledger movie you were in for a performance that would be true, vibrant, and full of life. Nominated for an Oscar at the tender age of 26 for his portrayal of a cowboy struggling with his sexuality in Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain Hollywood insiders had predicted a long career, full of many triumphs for Heath.
Sadly, that promise will be unfulfilled. We won't get to see him go on to discover new roles, won't get to see what new triumphs would be just around the corner for him. His final role, playing The Joker in the The Dark Knight will be a bittersweet experience for his fans: joy that we can see him do what he did best one more time, deep sadness that this will be the last time his grace and spirit light up the silver screen.
Again we will miss what might have been, and mourn for what was lost.
But what we do have is much more depth and variety than many actors achieve in a full lifetime of Hollywood fame. I think Heath would be proud of what he achieved at the end of the day; I hope so, anyway.
RIP, Heath Ledger 1979-2008

A new Free Gift is avaiable now.

The Toy Box has a new Ned Kelly Figurine for sale.

The Accessory Bin has discarded Laughing Masks and mysterious Mountain Rocks in stock now, though I don't know why you'd really want a piece of broken mountain rock?

The Clothing Rack and Accessory Bin are now carrying some toasty-warm and fashionable winter fare (that's right--fashionable--so there, Esme!)

...and also some new, nice and simple colored shirts.

The Soooole Traaain has just got in a new shipment of strange shoes with wheels on them. No one is quite certain what they're for--perhaps an alternate method of transportation? D:

The fashion alarm is going off--that means, of course, that it's time for the Subeautique to release some new sets into the hands of the hungry public.
And new is the word of the evening indeed, with three brand new designers!
First up, it's InClover with the stunning--and appropriately named-- Elegrace set.

Our second newcomer is Fallen Fallacy, introducing its Faith line.

And lastly, but by no means least; say hello to The Court Jester with Misery Bound!

As always, if you're looking for the highest of high fashion and the trendiest of trends, turn your gaze towards the Subeautique--Esme shakes her head and tsks in disapproval every time you buy from that tacky Accessory Bin place. ;)

The Accessory Bin has recieved a huge order of exciting Back Ribbons, and some boring colors like tan too :(.
