So that's what happened to amy! I was wondering why she had been replaced. And..."took the news well" what the...? there's something wrong with her sister if she took the news well. I hope that was a mistake on the part of the writer/story creator. LOL

He didn't talk to anyone before since there was no need to. Buuuut, because of THE FORCES OF EVIL that are strengthening on Subeta, he's had to come out of hiding temporarily to kill some peepz. Also a good place to designate the difference between evil and beneficial killing, and evil-leaving-alive so that they hurt someone else worse, as happened with Merana. (Optional: cue Sacred Potion color.)

Shinwa gets like WOAH jealous because he's stealing her spotlight, and tries to seal him away, leading to... what? WELL DRAMA AND GOOD TIMES, THAT'S FOR SURE

That would be awesome

Ovation, as they say in Subetapedia Sinwa came from planet Selenis (which Maleria somehow destroyed). so this "the good god Whatshisface" can be the original god of Subeta, who was (till this hour))) too afraid to oppose Shinwa and Maleria altogether. (that would be nice)))

This IS random, just because killing off a child NPC on a petsite is totally unheard of, even if there was a long plot leading up to it. I'm weirded out by the ending but not annoyed or anything. It's just weird. :p

Also: RS war next year could be between the good god Whatshisface and Shinwa. Shinwa RSes items with 'Light' in the name, and Whatshisface RSes items... like that. or something.

Eh, it could work, but only with a lot of jiggering.

I'm still hoping that Amy will return one day as a denizen of the deep, raised as Merana's heir with no memory of her former life on land.

I'm sorry, what? This is one or the more rediculous things I've heard recently. This story was actually rather tame compared to what normal people/teens get into and are reading nowadays. Anyone young enough to be bothered by this are probably too young to legally be on Subeta anyway, and it's their parent's job to monitor them.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

i chose the islanders 4 the war. now i gonna use that to avenge Amy! hey, next time, can you release the story BEFORE the war, so we won't regret the side we chose. i soo wish i chose pirates oh, and i so thought she would be ok at the end...so sad

Augh- now I'm /really/ depressed that I missed the majority of this plot. I got busy for a little while, came back, and the war was over. I never even got to join a side

But anyways. Amazing story. Generally I get bored with these sorts of things so quickly, but this plot was incredible~

Kidnapping is no big deal to read about. There are people in 5th grade learning about war. And murder? I'm pretty sure there was no mention of it.

There are kids on here that followed this, and did not see it as a big deal; trust me.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Ovation

Chrisabell, dude, seriously. Kids are a lot tougher than you think, and you'll harm them more if you try to shield them from reality; it makes them absolutely self-absorbed. I would be grateful if you'd STFU, since kids under 13 aren't allowed on Subeta in the first place.

Then why can't we fight Shinwa in the Coliseum, Luxe? I hate Shinwa with a passion. Merana may be a total tool, but at least she's known as evil for a reason.

OMG PLZ BRING IN NEW, ACTUAL GOOD GODDESS OMFG THAT WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD FRIGGING PLOT

Veeline, let's make a Shinwa Intervention Club! It's clear that Shinwa just has a severe social anxiety and agoraphobia. We need to cure her! THIS IS AN INTERVENTION. SHINWA, WE'RE ALL VERY WORRIED ABOUT YOU.

This is really, really sad. But this is a reason I love subeta.

The site doesn't always have happy endings and doesn't make you feel like a complete idiot watching Barney. Even though this was really sad, I think this plot was beautiful.

It goes along with the whole islander sacrifice thing everyone talks about. It's really unfortunate the islanders think they did nothing wrong, which is why people usually view sacrifice as wrong and awful.

A LITTLE GIRL DIED.

Yeah, yeah, blame the victim.

If you islanders had gone ahead and tossed someone else into the sea instead of making such a big fuss over some missing gals, then perhaps this whole thing could have been avoided in another manner. Seems to me the victim was already picked out whether Merana’s attention was on her or not.

Barbarians the lot of ya. Really glad I followed the side with the Torrey now.

Anyway, I liked it. I enjoy a sad ending and certain amount of character death from time to time, because I am morbid that way. As others have said, it was beautifully illustrated as well.

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">Veeline, I have never ever ever liked Shinwa. She's conceited, arrogant, and lazy/inactive to the point that it makes the first two traits into something a lot like narcissism - expecting worship without actually doing anything to earn it.
That's quite an accurate description of Shinwa, actually. She does have a very vain streak, and I suspect that for all her going on about being the ''good'' goddess, the reason she troubled herself at all to make a statement is because Amy looked like her. Something needed to catch her attention, and that was it.
