Veeline, I have never ever ever liked Shinwa. She's conceited, arrogant, and lazy/inactive to the point that it makes the first two traits into something a lot like narcissism - expecting worship without actually doing anything to earn it. On top of that, she keeps losing her goddamn bracelet and is incapable of walking over to the Wizard to ask for her piece back!

I wonder if there is going to be more. The story seems incomplete... maybe it's going to continue next year... hmmm...

And Chaonea, seriously, IT IS A STORY ON THE INTERNET. Unlike Jake Baker, this does not impact anyone real in any way. As it is, the story is somewhat incomplete; we don't understand why there would be motive or celebration, much less WORSHIPING MERANA AND LIKING HER, on the part of the Islanders. It's normal for us to try to fill this in.

Sad ending to the plot, but... well, very fitting. SO sad. throws rocks at people who are happy she's dead show a little sympathy a least, 'cause what if a little (real) girl you knew and liked/loved drowned?

Sad, sad, sad. Damn Islanders, I'm so so so happy for joining the Pirates. But than again, DarkMonday has a pint the one to blame this on is Merena. Sad, sad ,sad. I kinda wanna change Noarah's color (she's Hydus). Anyways, I figured out the port blunder thing and it's pretty cool, has a store, resort, coda cave-like place, has RS war store and quests.

I actually feel bad now. I didn't ACTUALLY expect Amy to die :C And the pirates are cooler than I gave them credit for. Even if they are a little overrated as a character type.

Sad ending to the plot, but... well, very fitting. I have kind of mixed feelings on it though. xD; I guess I'd sort of like a more in-depth look on Islanders + Merana = BFF thing, because the tone of the ending was like, "pirates good, islanders evil 4ever." And Kahaleitzli is ~~~~SOOOOO EVILLLLLL~~~~ when I honestly can understand why he did what he did. :/ Was it the right thing? Honorable? No and no. But with the situation being what it was... I mean, just, guys, as much as it's the right thing to do, going against the goddess of the sea really does not seem like a smart thing to do, considering she's, uh, the GODDESS OF THE SEA, and that to fight her we'd kind of have to be able to get to her, and she... is underwater. In the sea. Which she is the goddess of, and which pretty much all of us can drown in pretty easily. :'D We don't have actual guaranteed fairytale endings in things like this, as shown by the last page. Going against Merana could very well have put Kaha's entire people at risk of being annihilated. She's the goddess of the sea. Wiping out a village shouldn't be too hard for her.

I wish the Islanders hadn't been portrayed as evil. They worship the sea, and the pirates crashed a party. If they hadn't done so, they would never have brought Amy to Merana's attention.

I'm just glad this plot wasn't sugar-coated... it has a lot of feeling and everything. It's sad that Amy is dead but who knows.... things CAN happen in the future.

well may be sad for amy ( if she is realy dead and wont become a friendly sea with to conquer merana) but i am glad that sarah comes now i prefer to do new quests that are available to all not only poor ones

I am deeply saddened by the ending.

But I love this site, and the plot that I have participated in, they are so different and much darker/sadder/exciting that your average site. I am glad I left Neopets for this.

Wow, I can't believe they actually let her die -- I was, in fact, on the same page as those who thought there would be some twist for her to survive. But that's the beauty of plots on a website such as Subeta, or Valenth -- there's room for darkness.

Poor Amy, though. :/ Even if I am an Islander, and I understand why we/they need to go through with the offering so that Merana won't kill them, it's sort of sad that somebody that young was used for such. tosses said daisy into the sea
