If this supposedly happened, how did it only take a few minutes of downtime on and off through out the day?? I feel like we keep being promised that the site will be fixed, it will be taken apart, there will be a recode, etc etc etc...And yet, where is that? When has that happened?
"up to two days" Anywhere from a matter of minutes of downtime to up to two days. Subeta.org is my homepage as well, firefox timed out several times, so yes, it taken offline earlier today.

Even though youve been yelled at by me, I still wish to say that I AM thankful for your constant work on the site for us. (I was very happy to have a moment on subeta today as well).

I'm not sure what I'm going to do when the site is down. I've become an addict to this site, downtime and all. What you're doing sounds really complicated though. Best of luck to you, and as somebody said, please back up everything. I'd hate to lose what I have.
Since it is almost time, any ideas what time we will be going down Wed? Midnight, later in the day? Thanks for the heads up anyway, I won't keep refreshing waiting for it to come back up

I am new to the site, but was thinking of quitting the game because of all the off time. But now, since this bulletin came out, I am thinking of staying with it.

My feelings are: what is really going on here?
I'm one of the people who have also stopped telling anyone about the site because I'm the one that's going to look like a chump when they email me and say, "Uhm.. you referred me a site that's never online".
Also, I don't put money into this site but I have just as much to say and so does anyone else who has a great time here, when it's actually up.
What's wrong with the site now? It's working fine. The pages are loading in great time so why change it?
What's the real problem here? Why is it not being fixed? With all the money that people pour into this site I cannot understand, for the life of me, why it isn't like any other site on the internet - up and running 99.9% of the time.

I'm going to seem mighty bored when it happens but it'll all be worth it later when the site is back up and running! Even though this question might not be answered I would like to ask. When will the trades and forums work for Internet Explorer users who can't get FireFox? Anyway again I bid you great luck even if it'll be down more than 2 days!

I'm not upset that the site is going down again. I am extremely grateful for the heads up, as a matter of fact. I think what most are complaining about (and most are being nice about it) is that it keeps happening over and over and over again. We hear every time that the "problem" is fixed but it still keeps happening. These must be the crappiest servers, like, EVER, lol! Which shouldn't be the case b/c Keith said before he got the best he could!
I haven't put any RL money into the site, so I don't have much right to say something. But I also have quit telling people about the site until it is working properly. If someone recommend Subeta to me right now and I had never heard of it - it would be very hard for me to get into it b/c of all the distracting downtime. So it hurts everyone when the site is down. And obvy, they are working on it, but something else must be going on, b/c it KEEPS breaking.....
Again - good luck guys. Fingers and toes are all crossed!

GA account prices are far cheaper than other sites. I would not even think about complaining about that loss. No biggie. It always gets replaced. However, when I think about the other money amounts spent on monthly DP's and such, I cringe. I'm a grown, old women and should be spanked for spending money on this. Or something. But, I do and I have no one to blame but myself. I only hope that what we have now will be here once you have done what you do or are going to do. If not, so be it. I for one will survive.
It is just the withdrawals that one goes through not being able to play that we really worry about the most. Isn't it? LOL!

Umm...do you plan on giving us GA time to compensate for the downtime? (Seeing as how you just extended the GAs for a week and now the site will be down during that time.)
And also, what about the seasonal Easter tickets? We've lost many opportunities to collect tickets, so do we just take our losses, or will the game be extended for an extra week or so?
So we get a week of GA time to make up for the site problems... And then staff decides to take the site down during the qweek.
I hope you see how that's not really fair to us, and extend the GA time.

Look- what Im saying about this is that- We love subeta and I am glad you are taking your time to try to make it better, really- its just that we get frustrated when our favorite place goes down- and for such a long time! And its been going on for so long now, of course the people are going to be upset- you have to know thats whats going to happen even though you are trying to do something wonderful for them.
Even though it may seem like you arent very appreciated when you have so many people voicing their opinions, you are.
But remember. People have put MONEY into this, people BUY from you. So, when you see everyone getting upset- understand that Hey, a lot of people spent money to have the gold accounts and items and slots and most that they have, so yeah. We are upset when you say you are going to be gone for two days straight.
But I am thankful that you are taking the time to try...and try... to better subeta for us. Honestly, I am. And also for the fact that you let us know and gave us some time before hand to get in a little subeta before the downtime.
I do wish though, to ask that if you are going to be down longer then two days- at least keep the main subeta.net page updated so we know whats going on?

That is a bunch of crap. I lost over 4 million np worth of stuff from my vault, during their birthday glitch a few years ago, and they would not replace anything. And lost another few million in items in trades. Here at least they keep you informed and talk to you.

You cant fix such a large problem without taking the site down to fix it and until you guys have had to hand code something you really cannot understand. And besides complaining is useless cause this is going to happen if you like it or not. Keith thank you for taking further time out of your life to fix things
Hey, give him a break people. :/ At least he's still trying to fix the problem, if any of you remember, Gaia was pretty much like this when it first started out, a lot of glitches, and downtime . . look at it now though. Sure it might take some time, but lets hope it is all worth it in the end.
