I do not know if Keith is actually going to reply yo this, but I have SEVERAL times contacted a UA over missing stuff and they answer is always the same... the can do nothing about it. I actually USED to spend RL cash on this site, but I have decided against it in fear of losing MORE then I already have. It is not fair that GLITCHES happen and our items can't be replaced like they should.
I hate Neo but if an item is lost in trades or there is a glitch, they at least replace the item for you.
The past down times have been ridiculous since NOTHING seems to be fixed.
the comment about someone has to pay to fix the sight so GAs wont go into the MC was just pathetic and was wrong. Don't you know taking care of your players will get you more in the long run? * shakes head* I guess being a CEO/ owner at 18 leaves a lot to still be learned in the long run.
If you took the time to actually listen to your players issues and concerns, people may not get so frustrated
Good Luck with getting the site up and running, I for one do not think anything will change.... I hope you can prove me wrong.
Lastly if this post gets people mad, I am sorry, but I for once had to express my opinion.
Meh, I won't get all bent out of shape, at least we got a warning. Pets Super Smash Brawl That'll keep me occupied at least. Hopefully this will solve the problem. >.>

Wasn't the whole point of the site going down last time to switch servers and have less down time? Seems to me the issues have increased and NOT gotten any better.

All I know, is I can honestly say I won't be recommending this site to anymore of my friends, until it's up and running 99% better than it has been. I won't say perfect because I know nothing is ever or will ever run with out some kind of error/glitch/downtime. But lately this has just been disappointing. <----- is what I typed

Awesome news! As others have said, I'd rather be without for a few days than have the site up and down like this. Is this work going to be the foundation for the recode, or will you be working from the ground up yet again? Either way, I'm all for it...and the timing works for me, too. Will be making finishing touches to wedding plans for the 20th.

I don't really get it. The site speed or anything has never changed since I joined. The only thing that's consistent is the fact that the website is down a lot for 'upgrades' which I've never seen before.

Are you joking? This is actually the first time I can get on since yesterday afternoon - which was only a short peek in then!
The site has virtually been down since Tuesday evening and you are just progressing with Trivias, Token Shop items, Recicle Beast, etc. as if nothing was wrong! I'm just glad I came on, noticed the new Trivia AND had time to answer it, I'd have thrown a tantrum had I missed that
and there already have been major on purpose downtimes for installing/fixing those servers over the past 3 months.
Let's just hope, the upgrade/repair is one this time and not the exact opposite as it has been the last couple of times crosses fingers

Darkness_Dreaming, exactly my point. That is what I have done every time I find something missing and that is the exact same response I get is "oh well there is nothing we can do about it" its your loss.. and I see it coming now that everyone will say I never said that.. lol

Thanks for the heads-up! The people who are complaining don't seem to realize that you're going to be trying to fix all the downtime issues the site has been having lately, which I can only see as being a good plan of action. Of course, this downtime means I might actually get some of my important schoolwork finished on time, so I don't have all that much reason to be foaming at the mouth about it. XD

Anytime I've ever contacted a UA about missing items I've always been told oh well, it sucks but we can't do anything about it. Just, you know, throwing that out there.
Two days down for no more lag and site crashes is worth it.
IMO, this has been what was needed for a long time, so the programmers can really get in there and fix things. A difficult decision I'm sure, but a lot easier to take if we get forewarning. I look forward to a better more reliable subeta when I log in next weekend(ish).
FWIW, another site I play set up a temporary board on proboards to publish updates and had a link on the main homepage to get you there. Maybe you or the staff could regularly post on one of the fansites with official updates? Or do something similar? It certainly made waiting much easier.
I am amazed at how many people are complaining about this. This is designed to FIX the site so it won't have so much unplanned downtime.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't mind the downtime, I would rather a long period of complete downtime for it to become stable, than have a long period were you can't trust whether or not the site will work.
